Went with a few girls to the Candlelight Restorative Yoga. Loved it! It smelled so good in here! Elicia uses essential oils and has a great studio! It's very cozy and she even has a great selections of teas to drink! It's $12 just for a drop in. Elicia is very spunky. Loved her! She makes you feel at ease. She has extra yoga mats if people need them and she helps with adjustments too. I can't wait to go back! read more

History

Established in 2016.

EB Yoga opened it's doors in October of 2016. We have enjoyed sharing our love of yoga with the Bay City community ever since.

Meet the Business Owner: Elicia B.

Elicia was introduced to yoga in high school and had an immediate connection to it. After 14 years of on and off practice, Elicia made the commitment to yoga and herself and began her yoga teacher training. After completing her 200-hour teaching certificate, Elicia knew that yoga would forever be a part of her life. She continued to advance her yoga studies, taking more advanced trainings in Restorative Yoga and Vinyasa Yoga. Opening a yoga studio to share her love of yoga was a natural next step. Elicia's belief that yoga is for Every Body inspired her to create a studio offering a wide variety of classes, taught by teachers who share her passion. EB Yoga offers classes for Every Body, regardless of age or yoga experience.

The class was informative, it felt great, the instructor (Marti? Marty? I don't know how to spell her name) was incredible. She offered modifications without being pushy or invasive. I was able to follow at my own pace. The hour flew by and at the end, I felt like I had physically and mentally released so much anxiety and tension. It's in a beautiful location in Bay City and from the moment you walk in the door, you feel a sense of calmness and belonging. I can't wait to get back there and integrate this into my fitness/health routines. So do not hesitate. Check this studio out and you will not be disappointed!

There is no sign saying it's Ocean Jasper. The bathrooms are shared so you will need to exit the suite with a key and have an employee walk you to the bathroom. I received a gua sha facial from Kelsey. And was incredible. She Explained everything really simply and what to expect really clearly and I felt immediately at ease. She is very approachable and really lovely to learn from. As a facial newbie I wasn't sure what to expect but her professionalism and clear expertise made me feel like I was in great hands. Also she explained things in a great way that also made me learn a bunch! The gua sha facial was really relaxing and I'm excited to come back again. I had a new more defined chin immediately after the facial. When I come back I will try her recommended suggestion of booking a lymphatic massage first then do the gua sha facial. My only regret is forgetting to take pictures of this lovely place. I'll be back and will recommend my family and friends to come!

Horrible customer service I took my family to get ice cream…read moreand play mini golf, when my wife ordered the superman ice cream, Jennifer the worker had a hard time scooping it out of the container, then she put it away and asked my daughter what she wanted and she replied superman also, she let a sign and rolled her eyes, it was obvious she was annoyed she had to scoop it again, my daughter asked me later is she did something wrong, I had to explain to her that some people just don't like their jobs, once finished scooping our ice cream we paid for 18 holes of mini golf, at this time it was already 8:15 because she decided to help all the golfers first before she would scoop our ice cream, the course was a mess, sticks and leaves everywhere, where there were pipes the balls kept getting stuck, we spend a good 15 minutes trying to get our balls unstuck on one of the holes, another hole was completely under water and we had to pass it up, then at 9:01 we hear a women screaming "WE ARE CLOSED" over and over again until I walked around a corner and seen Jennifer there holding the door open yelling like she was yelling at her children to come inside after dark, my kids could not believe it, neither could my wife and I, we only made it to the 11th hole and was unable to play 2 out of the 11, we left and she locked the door right behind us, it was obvious she had somewhere she wanted to be besides work. WE WILL NEVER GO BACK TO DUTCH VILLAGE. You have lost my business and everyone I tell about this, when I tell people, most everyone has a similar story and after reading all your reviews I don't know how you are still open, what an embarrassment to have in our city. There are more than enough putt putts and ice cream shops around.
