It is very hard to find even decent Pho in Amsterdam and Haarlem has even fewer places but this hidden gem has more than set the bar for good Vietnamese cuisine in Haarlem and possibly Amsterdam. If you are looking for an appetizer, try the fried spring rolls (which have a vegetarian option) and you will certainly enjoy them. Ask for some added spice to almost any dish and the staff will be happy to throw some "sate" into the dish (sate is a spicy oily side sauce that can be added to a dish, not to be confused with the more common peanut sauce variety found in the Netherlands). Stop in and have a Saigon or a Heineken while enjoying some good food on the front patio.

They have the same menu and I was not able to notice a quality difference between these two locations (that being said the location in Amsterdam is nowhere neat as good as these two in Haarlem...I think they can get away with it because there are so many tourists in Leidseplein) You do not have to have a reservation but I would highly recommend making one. This place is very crowded and sometimes it is not even possible to reserve a table a few days in advance, especially on the weekends.
