The market is on the La Ramba and is a tourist trap. Everything is overpriced and you have to haggle to get down to a reasonable price range. Best advice, if there's no price tag on it, ask for the price first before ordering it or buying it. If you don't like the price, then haggle. A friend of mine made the mistake of ordering a glass of wine w/ out asking for the price first and was charged $15. I'd still recommend visiting it for the first time. Just cause it's one of Barcelona's main tourist attractions and you need to check it off the list. But I'd recommend shopping or eating somewhere else, where you'll get better prices and the same quality.
