They showed me the broken part and even did a quick demo, pointing out how to remove the part for fast replacement. They also mentioned this was pretty common in older model Hondas. Since I had already paid; they said get the part replaced, come back, and I could basically skip the line to get the test done. I replaced the part myself, which I'm pretty proud of, came back the next day and then my battery died... what the f@%k?! - NOTE: If your battery dies, the car computer has to reset. Which means you need to drive around for at least 50-miles. I did this, came back, they slide me in, and finally passed smog! The staff here was super patient, helpful, and very understanding to my situation. Beyond registration they also replace key fobs for cars and can cut new car keys as well.

Fast? Yes! The smog check was very fast. Infact, by the time I dropped off my car walked to the coffee shop across the street and came back, my car was done. Efficient? Yes! I passed and they sent my info directly to the DMV for me. Decent customer service? Nope. When I arrived, they barely looked at me, said,"fill this out", handed me a clipboard, and walked away. On my exit the worker said, "You passed. Cash or card?" I had to ask how much? Do I get paperwork for the DMV? Do I get a copy and receipt? Couple the above with the insane COVID conspiracy signage they have in the window. I only noticed it on my way out, but it said "babies are born dead due to the Covid vaccine. Went there to transfer a title into my name last week. Charged me $80 for the service. So she made a copy of my DL and took my number down so that she could call me when she was able to correct it the next day. Waited til the next day.. and nothing. So I decided to call the office. First she said she had just gotten into the office and she was gonna do it later. Which the office had already been open for at least a few hours. Then she said was was just too busy.. then she said she would do it on her free time.. sounded like a bunch of excuses. And they were a bunch of excuses. Got my title and the name is still spelled wrong. She never fixed it. Probably because she didn't have any "free time" to do the job she was paid to do. What if I went to work, was getting paid for it, and my employer told me to do my job and I responded with... ohhh well I just been to busy, I'll do it on my free time? I probably wouldn't have that job anymore. Cause Id be fired. Also, when she printed it out and said she would fix it later, for some reason, I knew she wasn't going to fix it. Now I'm at the DMV, Trying to correct her mistake. I wasted time and money. Because she didn't have free time to do her job. And I am definitely not going back there even if it's free because she just might have more excuses and waste more time.
