There response to us was "take the remaining balance and hire someone else to fix it"! Reports were filed with the BBB and NCDOJ in which they have failed to respond to. Do not use this folks whatsoever. Backsplash * Blue stains on tile in numerous places as a result of the contractor spilling blue toilet water on the boxes of tile that need to be replaced. * Tile pattern is not matched in numerous places and needs to be replaced. * Uneven gaps in grout edging in numerous places that need to be fixed. * Grout dust is sealed into the clear caulk. * Grout was left on the cabinets that wasn't properly cleaned up. * Uneven tile on the backsplash that is not flush needs be replaced. Kitchen Floor * Grout is cracking in numerous places. * Uneven tile in numerous places that needs to be replaced. * Kitchen island was not shimmed so it moves with weight put on it. * Gaps from where the tile meets molding and ¼ round. * Damage to the cabinets from removal of old tile around the refrigerator. * Grout and paint left on cabinets by the fridge that were not properly cleaned. Bathroom Floor * Unmatched floor pattern needs to be replaced. * Uneven tile cut in numerous places. * Grout is cracking in numerous places. * Uneven width of tile along baseboard and ac floor vent need to be replaced. Breakfast Nook Floor * Grout is cracking in numerous places. * Uneven tile in numerous places that need to be replaced. * Uneven floor pattern in numerous places Entryway Floor * Uneven tile in numerous places needs to be replaced. * Grout is cracking in numerous places. Miscellaneous * ¼ round is still showing visible stains because flat paint was used to touch up rather than a semi gloss so the paint pattern does not match the baseboards throughout the entire job. * 1/2 up the doors flat paint was used to touch up rather than semi gloss so the paint does not match. * Damage done to kitchen cabinets. Broken toilet. (3) Broken custom shelves. * Grout and paint stains on kitchen cabinets. * Uneven grout pattern throughout. * Grout stains on driveway from improper cleanup. * Damaged tile from contractor dropping the boxes. * Uneven tile throughout the entire area.

When it did and the contractor was working on the remodeling, he discovered a box of tile that was in matte finish. The order in this color was only in polished. Long story, and too many people interjecting, we returned the box that was mis-shipped. But was told to wait and so we picked it up again. Okay. My husband dropped it off once the job was done, and in speaking, I was told it was our fault based on what he said. Since we waited weeks for the order to come in... The matte finish has been a known issue but...I tried calling. I am used to having conversations where people take turns speaking. At least that is what I teach my students to do. I was constantly talked over and her voiced raised. When I asked to speak when she was finished, I started and was spoken over again repeatedly. I wish there could have been a responsible and reasonable conversation. I finally had to end the call from being yelled at and over constantly. I was given a check for the amount of what they said the box of wrongly shipped tile cost ($88). Thank you. The wrong item was shipped and they did repay but that was painful to do. You sure could say a lot of things and she said them, but I thought Kindness Matters. For $88 bucks, not worth the conversation to understand nor interact again. I wish them the best but now cannot recommend them. I wish them the best and I am heading to elsewhere. I did want to support local. Make Good Choices.

They have pressure washed my house and deck and then stained the deck and stairs in addition to the hand railings to a side door. They installed metal mesh covers over my wide gutters and repaired a problem. In addition, they purchased and installed a heavy storm door and latch at the front door. When two exterior doors arrive they will install them. They leave the job site neat and tidy daily and do an excellent job on everything. Their quote was very fair and lower than anyone else's and they are proud of the work they do. If you need something done, I highly recommend Spencers Custom Construction as they are very conscientious and knowledgeable.

What took the other contractor months to execute took Donnie a couple of days. He is extremely dependable and experienced in what he does.
