I love coming and bringing my puppy here. He roams free and since its fenced in I get lucky enough to let him off his collar and chain and let him be free. There is also a kids playground with swings. I usually come here between my kids games at Dream arena. Best low key park in El Paso. Plus the area is nice so the area is kept up. Great place to bring your blankey and book and enjoy life and El Paso weather!

We went for a quick lunch and then headed back with our puppy for a couple of hours. The inside restaurant and bar was very unique, loved it. Kind of retro and plenty to do. The outside is really fun all the way around. My puppy really loved the little river they have. The staff is amazing, attentive, sweet and extremely friendly. We will make Gringo Theory a regular place to go to.

It hasn't occurred once but greater than 10 times. I was at the dog park earlier today with my 2 dogs and there was only 1 other dog and person there who left before I did.. I was getting preparing to leave, went for the leaches with the harnesses attached only to find them gone.. In 33 years of having dogs, living in 6 different states, 9 different cities, nothing like this has ever happened to me before I still am in disbelief. He stole my property

The small dog area isn't ridiculously small either i usually stick my dog in with the big boys in other parks because of the lack of space. He seemed to be content with the area & I will definitely bring him back. We were the only ones here at this time so hopefully during peak bark hour my dog & I will make some friends. With that being said the water fountain in the small dog area isnt much of a fountain its just a faucet that doesn't necessarily land in the reservoir. I forgot our travel water bottle but Sancho didnt mind getting splashed in the face much. Although i've seen better dog water fountains this isnt a deal breaker. Other reviews seemed to mention an ungodly amount of feces leftover by owners & i guess we got lucky because the area was really clean this afternoon.

Man trying to run with your pup in the large dog area was a hard feat...so I switch over and took my dogs to the small dog area (4 are considered small and the last one is actually a big boy!) but left my big boy in the proper area. I could actually run over there, due to not many mounds of poop. There isn't much to dog with the dogs so running was what we did since there were only 2 others there when we went. There are benches out for the humans to sit at and chit chat! Oh and how could I forget the water fountain. My one male dog wanted to use it so bad rather than is bowl...for what reason I have no idea...but I kept telling him no and he eventually figured out alright mom isn't joking even though this thing is so darn cool. If you need poop bags they have that too! All in all if you want to get your dog out to run freely then this is a great place. Just watch out for the poop just in case. People just learn to pick up your DOGS POOP! It's not hard!!! =)

I love this dog park because of its location on Main Post almost next to the parade field and near Iron Soldiers gate. I usually park on the other side of the Parade Field, walk the parade field with my dogs and when I see the dog park midway thru I stop and let my furry loved ones have fun inside the dog park to later walk back to our vehicle. The park consists of 2, one for big dogs and one for smaller dogs. Dog waste bags are always available. Trash can and plenty of fire hydrants. The park is mid size. You may also park at the soldier/welcome center and walk to the park because it doesn't have its own parking lot.

The park is shaded which is great Bc it is a metal: Plastic park and in the sun it could cause some serious burns. The swings are not covered so we stayed away for fear of a burn. There is a splash pad with a few different things to play with and a nice walking path throughout the park. There is a fenced in baseball field and one that has no fence. A basket ball court with hops no nets. 3-4 covered pavilions no bbq grills on site. Overall very nice clean park with a very friendly vibe
