Also, students of disabilities, should be treated with a bit more discipline. The people there let one student I have heard my daughter mention named Kayla, do whatever they want. This is not good for any students with disabilities. And, they need to notice more about kids with mental health problems. This would make students feel much better.

My son started at the Heights Christian in Hacienda Heights for preschool and I loved that school…read more The teachers were wonderful, he learned everything he needed to prepare him for pre-K (because of his age) and then I switched him to a Catholic school. That lasted two years and I put him back in the Heights Christian La Mirada campus. I couldn't have been happier. I was happy to see how they incorporated, not only the Christian faith, but scripture, as well. Each week the kids memorize a new bible verse and talk about what it means. They also had the kids learning how to do book reports, oral reports, and projects starting in first grade. They gave him opportunities I hadn't seen at his other school: school play for their Christmas program, Spanish class, music class with recorder, after school programs to further his learning, the list goes on. My son has thrived in his education and I really believe it is because of the school and the dedication of the teachers (like Mrs. Claes). This is his last year at this campus, but I can't wait to see what the intermediate campus has to offer. I have multiple family members who are teachers for middle school and my son is ahead of a lot of their students. I highly recommend this campus. There is a real sense of community here which is why we chose this school. He is excelling in his class with the amazing Mrs. Hadden.
