Will that never happened. These items was rented for my mom's 80th birthday celebration, the ​distance from the venue and her storage unit was on opposite sides of town so we asked if they could be picked up Friday evenings instead of Saturday morning and she did allow us to pick up late Friday evening which was a great help. At this point I'm feeling pretty good about the transaction BUT on Sunday when we returned the items I asked when we would get the $50 deposit back and she replied, give her until Monday to go over her books. But I'm thinking to myself what does you going over your books has to do with you giving me my deposit back. Giving her the benefit of the doubt I said ok, well it's now 2 weeks later and she still has not returned my $50 deposit. I have tried to call, text and requested the money via Cash app all with no reply. And I forgot to add her communication was very lacking a week before we were supposed to pick everything up. Once she finally returned my call she stated that her teenaged son had her business phone. REALLY! WHO DOES THAT!! AGAIN DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PERSON. SAVE YOURSELF FROM THE FRUSTRATION. Additionally I will tell others that seek rentals to not entrust Awesome Rentals. My initial contact was made on July 30th requesting service. There was a response but nothing followed with regard to the next steps in booking. During the initial phone call I advised the owner or operating manager of my event date. After SEVERAL phone call attempts made and text messages sent (of which some I received no reply). I initiated an email to the establishment. The response I then received was that the coordinator (Carol) had sent an email to me late the previous night. I was ecstatic thinking the ball was rolling in right direction finally. To my horror and surprise the email was only sent to inform me that they had booked ALL items I needed for my event and to refer me to All Seasons Party Rental. Stating she wanted to check with the Congress Center to ensure their booking from April. The professional and correct thing to do would've been to reply to my inquiry within 24-48 and tell me they may not have availability due to a prior booking. Even if they were unsure of the booking. This would've allowed me an opportunity to seek elsewhere a month and a half from my event versus me now having ATTEMPT to book elsewhere only a week and a half from my event. I dealt with the poor communication in an effort be return business to Awesome Rentals. However it seems my smaller event that requested tents, tables, chairs and a dance floor was not as important to them than that of the Congress Center order. Or perhaps I just wasn't valued as a customer, as their poor communication displayed . I was severely mishandled in this instance and if the success of your event is important to you. Then I deeply suggest you or anyone you know to not entrust Awesome Events with your special day. I would encourage to you a seek a more professional and dependable rental equipment establishment.
