The owner personally spoke to me and walked me through the whole process and put me completely at ease. My Jeep looks absolutely amazing and I would highly recommend anyone to visit this shop if the situation ever arises that you need a collision repair specialist. I truly appreciate the hospitality provided by everyone at Eastside Collision.

I was in a minor accident and needed some front end repairs done. I own a 2021 Hyundai Kona. I sought 3 different repair quotes and decided to use Eastside Collision (based on positive reviews here on Google). The quote was dated 2/7/22 and, as a teacher, I decided to have the work completed during my spring break (3/21-3/25) so that I would not have to pay for a rental car as I was going to be out of town anyways. The original quote ($1103.14) included them replacing 3 parts on the front end as well as painting that would be required. I wanted everything to be replaced because I have a car that is not even one year old. In order for them to proceed they required that I pay 1/2 and they would order the parts so on 2/9/22 I called Sheila and paid $570.87 so that they would proceed with ordering the parts. Done. A few weeks later I decided to follow up to make sure that, due to COVID and possible supply chain issues, the parts were in fact in and would be there when I brought my car in. Well, to my dismay, after speaking with Robert (I'll speak of him later), the parts had never been ordered and somehow it got "missed" (this should have been my first red flag). Thankfully I had called and they were then able to "locate my file" and proceed with ordering the needed parts. I dropped off my car on 3/19/22 and I was planning on paying the additional portion over the phone and picking up my car on our way back in the following weekend. I called Robert mid week to see how things were progressing. It was at this time that Robert proceeded to tell me that "we had a problem". I will not go into all of the details of the call however the most important points to me were the following: 1). He told me that he in fact he ordered the wrong part and that the front bumper (which was cracked all the way across was going to be "repaired" instead of replaced) 2). He had not called me prior to discuss this change. He just made this decision. 3). I had paid for parts thinking that I was going to come back to all new parts; not a mended version. 4). He also explained that in the "fine print" on my quote that it states something to the effect of "this is an estimate and not guaranteed". (please see the copies of the quotes attached. nowhere does it say this). 5). I was trying to understand what he was telling me with where he had gone wrong with the ordering of the incorrect parts, since I am not the expert and he is, but instead of having patience and explaining things to me he decided that hanging up on me was his best option. I never once got upset with him during this conversation. I decided that calling him back would prove fruitless so I waited and called the following afternoon and spoke with Jeremy who was able to explain where things went wrong on their end and what they had decided to do. Jeremy told me that I would never even be able to see the repair and that it "looks brand new" (key point being I had paid for a NEW bumper..not a mended one) 6). During the conversation with Robert he had explained that in order to replace the bumper, that was supposedly included in the original quote, would cost an additional $655. Once I realized the gravity of the situation I decided to not pay the balance and to pick up my car the following Monday so that I could see the repairs prior to paying. When I arrived at the body shop I walked to the front of the car and immediately noticed the "repair" to the bumper and mentioned it to Robert. His comment was "it looked perfect until they went to snapped the bumper back on and when they did that portion creased". I was so put out at this point that I simply paid and left. It wasn't until the next day, when I was getting in my car, that I noticed that the front wheelhouse trim portion that they had painted didn't match my existing back trim. Robert told me to do it correctly that I would have to pay an additional $700+. BEWARE!
