There are a number of eager employees to help get your tree ready to take home and loaded, too. Inside, you'll find employees who will help you design custom wreaths,too. I am so glad that I learned about her riding program based out of Solid Ground in Scarborough. It is a wonderful, welcoming place where the horses (and mini donkey) are loved and cared for like family. I've been living in Maine for nearly 20 years, and never knew it was around the corner. So I went. My first visit went pretty well, one thing lead to another, and I was slowly getting more involved. But not to long after, something inside of me said, '' they're not that fond of me ''. But I shrugged it off thinking it was all in my head. So then a few months go by, and I'm having a birthday party there and I'm going to there Christmas events! I'm also getting along with the owner's son! But looking back, something about my birthday seemed off. It felt as though they would rather be somewhere else then socialize with me. Maybe I'm just too dang sensitive, but one of my biggest reasons for going there was just to make friends. Plain and simple. I've been struggling to find them, and I thought this was the place. They also charged me a heavy price for riding. Towards the end they invited and drove me to a horse show, and I actually had a great time! Then to top it all off, I was having a backyard bbq event they came to, and that also went well! But the next day, that's when everything kind of went downhill from there. They acted like the party never happened, and I started to get cold vibes from them, they stopped inviting me to things, plus they stopped contacting me, and everything else in general. Hopefully this is an eye opener for them. As for recommendations, I'm kinda in the middle.

As well as a farmhouse that you can rent and sleep 16 people to give lodging for family and friends. Big enough that everyone could stay together but still have their own space. The kitchen is large and very well equipped. We used the pool everyday and it was sparkling clean. There are horses and goats on the property which is a lot of fun especially because we are from an urban area. The landscape is truly gorgeous. If looking for a place to stay in the area I would highly recommend. The owner is very responsive even helped us get some items we left behind!
