The prices are a bit higher than some other options, but not nearly as much as you might expect (pants were ~150 tailored, got some excellent button-up shirts for ~50 a pop). The salespeople (thank you Sammy and Athen) are also passionate about their products and are ready to help you with colour theory, how to pair your items with other items in the store, how to best care for your clothes according to the materials, eyeing more American sizes to find their European equivalents... One scary thing shopping here is that they seem to get some lower-volume shipments from their designers, so have noticed a bit more instances of extra string at the end of some stitchings than would be expected. Emphasis on EXTRA, like an inch or so of string that had not been trimmed from a button's stitch.

This particular Tilly's is a pretty big sized store, of course compared to a spot within a mall. You'd think that this Tilly's is an outlet store. Their store hours are pretty good but just keep in mind that there are certain hours that you can use their curbside pickup service. With that being said, maybe I have a blind eye and missed it but I could not for the life of me find a designated curbside pickup area, so, we decided to walk into the store and just pick up my order at the register. We checked three areas, two areas for our stringbean, the backpacks and the boys clothing, and the Kitchen aisles. He couldn't decide on the backpacks- $10.99 and $12.99 (Super Mario), so we passed on them. But we found two tops, one Super Mario t-shirt and a nice button down shirt for $5.99. I also found a bento like container for $2.99. The aisles were well-stocked, the store was clean, nothing was messy, and the line for checkout was not that bad. It was a few minutes to wait. If you are in the area, I would say this is worth a visit.

I then said to the woman, Let me go back and get a pair of pants that are worth the price you are trying to charge me. She then proceeded to check out other customers' that had been in line behind me. Once I got back up to the register, the Cashier was checking out the next person in line behind me. I waited politely until she was done. Then she scanned the new black pair of sweat pants but gave me the cheaper no tag gray off brand pair of pants for the $13.99. Now what if I lost my receipt and wanted to return those gray sweats but the other brand is what you were given??? It would look as if you'd stolen a pair of pants right? I'm not sure of this operation and how will they do at the End of the Year for inventory. If they're scanning anything and giving customers' different items. Wouldn't this affect the shrinkage, and counts per items to be higher or lower depending upon the amount of things in the inventory check lists. I just thought this system was strange. Now I see Why I hardly shop in those stores. When stores inevitably get to scam customers it's okay but when the customer does it (whether it's human error or something else) looks like you are trying to scam or steal but it's cool when they do it lmao. It's definitely nicer looking than the regular Goodwill stores and the layout is organized which I liked. The staff was also friendly and welcoming when I walked in, and I thought it was nice that they offer water and the bathrooms are clean too. So the experience walking around wasn't bad at all. But the pricing is what completely threw me off. Almost everything felt way overpriced for a thrift store. I saw a lot of bags that were clearly knockoffs or inspired designer styles marked at $50-$60 or even more sometimes. Paying that much for a fake designer bag just doesn't make sense to me. If it was authentic that would be different, but for something that isn't real it feels kind of crazy. Even the clothes felt really high for secondhand items. Yes, some pieces looked a little nicer than what you'd normally see at a regular Goodwill, but it still didn't feel reasonable for used clothing. I'm honestly not sure who is putting the price tags on these items but they might want to do a little research because the pricing doesn't match the value. It's kind of frustrating because thrift stores used to be a place where you could find good deals or unique pieces without spending a ton. That's part of the fun of thrifting, finding something special that not everyone else has. Now it seems like some secondhand stores are trying to charge department store prices, which kind of defeats the whole purpose. I do like the idea of this store and the atmosphere is nice, but the pricing really needs to be reconsidered. We were very pleasantly surprised to find Bounce Fashions! The gentleman who owns the shop with his wife was very helpful without being pushy or trying to sell us everything in the store. They a lot of designer brand name items, but what caught my eye was pair of true religions. It had all these colored rhinestones on it. I have never seen trues like that before and the manager told me that it was one of a kind because they did custom work on it. It was one of a kind but it was slightly out of my budget. I would've given this place a 5, but i couldn't find rock and republic, citizens or joes jeans (my favs). Similar to boutiques you would find in california, but what really set them apart was their custom rhinestone work. I don't know of too many places that put on rhinestones for you in-store. Overall, it definitely would be worth it to check it out if you want something that no one else has, but you have to have the bank roll for it.
