Salim's has quite a long menu, so everyone can find something they'd enjoy to eat. Portions were surprisingly huge as well! I could barely finish mine (and I can eat a lot when taken to task), so if you're going with some mates don't be afraid to share! Atmosphere is nice, and so are the staff. It's a bit on the small side, so if they have a busy weekend I'd expect you'd have to book ahead. I was a bit disappointed in how long it took for our food to arrive (over an hour after we had ordered it, for 6 people). By the time it came we were absolutely starving, and a bit disgruntled. Still, the food was very good, though not worth that sort of wait - next time I'd do a takeaway for the convenience, and grab a few beers at a shop to avoid the massive price hike.

But upon arriving, I was pleasantly surprised to see that Neelam's actually serve an array of food, all coming in huge portions. After having had a couple of beers, we were more than ready for a feast, so whilst my friend ordered a kebab I decided to order a burger. Both came with a side of chips and we proceeded to sit down and devour our meals in a matter of seconds. Fairly priced and combined with a really friendly and welcoming atmosphere, the staff were as helpful as ever, so much so that I've been back, tried a kebab and can safely say, it was delicious!

The dahl was sooo good!! Nice and spicy! Portions were huge. Naan was fresh! I stuck with the dahl usually and we got chicken kabobs too once I think. They have a TV too and they play the bollywood music channel! haha, I will return when I head across the pond next :)
