I'll confess I didn't compare prices before, but rather just used the place my wife had used before in Tecumseh. Today I turned left instead of right when leaving our subdivision, because I wanted to combine trips and buy something in a store in Brooklyn. Both laundromats are about the same distance from our house. I'm very happy I did! The last place I used charged $6.00 per load in the big front-loading washers I use for our larger items. Here the same size washer is only $4.25! Obviously, that's not a massive savings, but saving $3.50 on two loads is nothing to ignore, and you obviously can save even more if you have more loads. The attendant was friendly, and there was a fresh pot of free coffee too!

The owner was so rude, and hovered over my kids and I the whole time we were there. My kids were so good. She literally said when I walked in with my 5 baskets of laundry/blankets, "thats a lot of laundry to have brought kids here". She was seriously so rude. My mother met us there and was in disbelief at how unfriendly she was for being the owner. Just wanted to forewarn anyone who would like to go and take their small children, avoid the harshness and go somewhere else!!

It's kind of cool a place like Saline even has a 24/7 laundromat. I half expected it to be closed after making the haul despite what Google was telling me. Parkside was nice and clean and wonderfully desolate on a Friday night. I might as well have let in a couple tumbleweeds with me, maybe let em roll around in the machines. Yeah, there were several out of order machines I spotted but it wasn't exactly a problem. If this place ever gets busy maybe keep driving? The color scheme is perfect for a laundromat- white, blue and sea green. Dig the chairs in here, too. It was a blow to my ego to see Salma Hayek on the cover of their AARP(!) magazine but hey, time marches on, and she still looks great! The extra large dryers are comically huge. I almost wanted to use one for the novelty. It looks like astronauts could train for centrifugal force in those things. I was in and out of here pretty quickly, and I had let my laundry slide for about as long as I possibly could. Didn't really see anything drastically the matter here - no music or television but usually it's nothing good in a laundromat anyway and in 2022 I'd just as soon play music on my phone. There was one machine that had nails in it, so that was exciting to find. We got something out of the vending machine and it had expired in 2017. TWO years ago. Do NOT come here. It is a dump and we will never be coming back.
