Mike is an excellent source of knowledge when it comes to cigars. The tools used are clean per visual inspection and the products used were well sourced. I cannot say whether or not others have had a better experience with Mike as a barber- however I was not satisfied after further inspection of my hair. I had shown Mike 3-5 pictures of a haircut I wanted- I had long curly hair very similar to a 3C hair texture. Over the phone Mike had sounded confident in his abilities and assured me that he knew how to properly cut very curly hair. My hair was damp/wet when cut and for about 15-20 minutes afterward since Mike had used a styling product. After drying, upon inspection my hair is a good 2-3 inches shorter than the shortest haircut I had shown him in the 5 pictures... a good 4 inches shorter than what appears to be the longest. The style does not match what I had asked for, however it may have been a match in his own eyes. The cut was $20 (fairly priced) and although I tipped well, I don't think I'll be returning. It's going to take at least a year for my hair to recover. The cut is not outright bad- just not at all what I had wanted or imagined for myself.

Very responsive and even offered some walk-in hours. A friend told me about the shop and a fantastic barber there and gave me her card; you can text her, but she seems to be booked or has too many texts to respond to. I was promptly greeted once Entering, the barber was ready with an open chair. I must have hit the perfect time because people showed up for their appointments once I sat down. As a new walk-in client, the barber asked me about my hair, style, and current cut. He got to cutting, and in less than 20 minutes, I was paying and out the door! Looking fresh and handsome! They have drinks and what looks like an Air hockey table, so it's a nice touch for waiting for your barber. My only suggestion, as I am from Columbus and just moving to the area, is the ability to book online or via an app like 'The Cut and an updated website/social media page with Walk-In hours posted. And unfortunately I wasn't asked if I wanted to book my next one; which seems like a miss.

She's honestly the best hairstylist in Springfield Ohio that I have found so if you're looking for somebody, that's great with kids, or if you're looking to get a fade or a men's haircut or trim or Baird she's your lady same with relaxers in your hair or perms.
