It quickly became a more than a year long nightmare. Lengthy wait periods between each step (appointment) in the process, severe bruising after the implant surgery, multiple adjustment appointments because of misfitting dentures and the pain that caused and ending (not so fast) with Renew just disappearing. They closed their doors and left all their clients hanging. So much for that "Lifetime Guarantee" they advertised as an incentive to lure you in. Now there is "new ownership" identified as Stacked Smiles who in their introduction letter announced that many of the services that Renew had in the Lifetime Guaranteed may now have costs associated with them. If you see Renew Dental (Implants) when searching for this type of need, run the other way as fast as you can.

I got the first part of my Root Canal taken care of right then and there between his other scheduled appointments. That's a level of service hard to find anywhere! Are you afraid of the dentist? Because I sure am…read more Or rather, I should say I *used* to be afraid of the dentist. Dr. Pariseau and her team of dental all stars suddenly have me singing a new tune. Lordy, Lordy, I AM a convert! I was long overdue for a trip to the dentist and have been putting it off because of past exposure to the vicious ministrations of dental professionals that left me feeling plundered and bereft. Plus, I was embarrassed because it's been awhile since my last visit. But now that my daughter has a few chompers of her own, I knew I couldn't put it off anymore. I don't want to be *that* mom. At my initial consultation I met with the doctor so she could examine and x-ray my mouth and set forth a treatment plan. Dr. Pariseau is not like any other dentist I've ever met. She is gentle and straightforward and incredibly likeable. And so is her assistant. I didn't have any cavities (yay!) so I can't speak on that but she did order a deep-cleaning which I thought sounded positively terrifying. But now that I've gone through it I can say with authority that it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. The hygienist was surprisingly nice and like everyone else who works in their small office, easy to like. Dental hygienists I've met in the past have basically been the grown-up versions of the nastiest, meanest girl you remember from your school days. Fortunately that was not the case with Mary! She was also really good about explaining the process and keeping me informed about the steps she was taking and periodically asking me how I was doing during the process. She also gave me a local anesthetic which made the cleansing, flossing and polishing much less traumatic than I ever remember it being. And even though I did experience some discomfort after the anesthesia wore off, by the next morning my mouth was more okay than I expected it to be, albeit a little tender. Technically my dental insurance considers this office out of network but thanks to the knowledge and expertise of the office manager, I found out that I could still come here for treatment and have my insurance cover about 80% of the work. And she submitted the claims for me--talk about service! So if you're looking for a new dentist, I can't recommend Dr. Pariseau and her staff enough. Every single one of them is professional and caring. And for the first time in my life I can go to the dentist without my knees knocking together and my teeth chattering. It's a great feeling!

IIn my 30+ years, I've never not had a crown hurt for months (years) after. The next day, no pain at all. I couldn't believe it. Fast forward a few years. I needed another crown and I was actually googling to find him because I refused to see another dentist. I felt like I hit the jackpot when I learned he had his own dentistry and was just a few miles away. Even my daughter (19) who was traumatized from prior procedures, has had (fillings, crowns to a root canal) from Dr. Chu with no problem. Dr. Chu is a down to earth person, actually listens, goes slow and will use small needles for numbing. He truly cares for his customers. He goes the best route to save as much natural tooth as possible and that is significant. Fritz is wonderful and so is the whole staff. I no longer fear the dentist. I no longer have pain for months after a crown or root canal. The world needs more dentists like this and I'm so thankful we crossed paths. I recommend Dr. Chu and his team to everyone I know. On Friday at 5:15 PM, a nightmare scenario unfolded: my front crown and tooth completely fell out. I was incredibly shaken and embarrassed. The thought of facing the weekend with a gap in my smile was devastating. Thankfully, I called Dr. Weisbrod, and to my immense relief, he squeezed me in at 6:45 PM that same day. His willingness to help during an emergency like that was just incredible. Dr. Weisbrod was wonderful. He immediately put me at ease, clearly explained all the options for restoring my tooth, and expertly provided a temporary fix. I was so grateful to be able to face the weekend without that missing tooth. Even better, he scheduled me for a permanent solution appointment within the same week! After my first visit, I realized this office is the kindest, most compassionate dental office I've ever been to. Not only is everyone kind from the first second you talk to them to make an appointment, but they do excellent work (I had a cleaning, filling and crown). Super efficient, quick and practically painless! Dr. Isaacson is kind to both patients and staff which impressed me as much as his skill and artistry. Because let's face it. Fashioning crowns, polishing teeth, etc. takes a skilled hand. I also LOVE the way Dr. Isaacson THANKED his dental hygienist (Ashlee) for her excellent work. And she truly is AMAZING! I'm so happy I found this dental office…read more My dentist that I had been driving to for the last decade in Eagan, a 40 min drive, had retired. I was devastated. I actually tried two other dentists when I first moved to Maplewood, they didn't give me the level of service I was accustomed to, so I kept driving to Eagan. Until now... It was easy to schedule an appointment at Hendrickson. On the actual day of I had a conflict come up, they managed to still squeeze me in same day. I received a super cute welcome bag of goodies on arrival, and didn't wait long at all afterwards to be seen. The dental assistant was super personable, as well as Dr. Cha who did my exam. They were both so friendly and genuine, I felt comfortable, and well cared for. Dr. Cha razzed me quite a bit cause I don't consistently floss...yeah, yeah, I know. He spent a good amount of time playfully drilling it into me, although he did admit my gums were very healthy, so winning there! But I have now been flossing everyday since my appointment. I appreciated the time he took to make sure I understand the importance. He also told me I could remove some white spots on a couple of my teeth that I was told may not be done before, so I'm excited to be back for that. I received a thank you card from the office a few days later. WOW! I've found my new dental office, I love the service standards here.
