Before you decide to join this medical group, understand even though they say they are a group,…read morethey don't know what that means. One department doesn't communicate with the other departments. You have to treat each department as a separate office with no expectations of consistency. You have to do 100% of the follow up. The Primary Care doctor is not sure what that term, Primary, means. Her job ends once she refers you to a specialist. Clueless after and again, one department (specialist) doesn't communicate with the others. This is why there is zero continuity, zero consistency, zero follow up and zero customer service with any of the support staff.

I landed in Nashville not feeling well, called and confirmed they close at 9. Drove the 2hrs & 40 minutes & arrived at 8:40. When I went to sign in I was told by the receptionist who was wiping everything down that they took there last pt of the day, but she would give me the paperwork & I could come back in the morning. No where on the website or during my phone call was I informed there was no mention of a cut off. Besides there was only one person there. I found her & this policy extremely unprofessional, uncaring & not in line with a medical oath. If I was told this I would have stopped at an urgent care in Nashville. Meanwhile it's 1am and I feel horrible with a fever.

you should be aware that they will not write you a doctors excuse for days you were sick prior to…read moreyour visit. Never in my life have I encountered this with a doctor's office. I do not go to the doctor as soon as I get sick. I usually wait at least a week because most of the time it's viral and the doctor won't do anything until it's been a week anyways. So that's what I did this time and I missed four days of work and they would not write me an excuse. They first claimed I ended up being sent to the er because I just needed fluids. I said that wasn't true and if they looked they'd be able to see that I had a strep test done and several prescriptions called in that was to treat hand foot and mouth and a secondary infection. I had lost 12 pounds in 12 days because I couldn't eat. I was very very sick so when I left to go to the ER, an excuse was not on my mind. Now that im better, I've tried calling back to get one and I was told I would've needed to discuss it with the doctor that day. I said if that was their policy they should make sure they ask every patient that comes in there if they need an excuse because I've never had to deal with this before . They said they put that responsibility back on the patient. I explained that a patient isn't going to be thinking about that when they are really that sick. The doctor looked back at my notes and said there was no way to verify I had hand foot and mouth. I was like no of course not there's no test for it but people still write excuses for it . She agreed to write it for two days prior to my visit. i was told it was all up to the provider and every provider is different. Then I get a call from an administrator saying their policy is to do the day of and days after and so they weren't going to write me an excuse at all now for the days I missed. So if you've been sick and have missed a few days of work or school, don't go to this office because they will not excuse you.

Which I already have known for years. Told me my cardiologist was wrong, and I was aged out for his diagnosis of Pots. So discredited him and made me feel worse. All the bills for bloodwork and ekg I'd have no problem paying. Her so called services, I would like to be paid for HER LACK OF CARE! But her bedside manner, gaslighting and total disregard for her patient was beyond disgraceful, disgusting. You almost pass out, arms, legs tingling, can't breathe. And told you're constipated, it really leaves a bad taste in your mouth. Had she bothered taking some time rather than being a completely disrespectful, rude person! Maybe she would of saw past the nose on her face to see, I actually was having bad problems. And went home feeling even worse due to her lack of care and condescending demeanor. This is the exact type of so called Dr that makes a person die at home, because the one time they actually listen to their family during an episode, and go in, you are left feeling like you're a fool, left with a huge bill for seeking help. I feel sorry for anyone that has to go to her. Andrea Dishner should be taken back to the basics in patient care. To boot, my appt in Vanderbilt University, confirmed the POTS and low blood pressure, high heart rate and potential adrenal tumor. As I did also complain about abdominal pain. Absolutely obscene the way she treated me, and I have heard since many others have filed formal complaints against her. You have someone scared with chest pains and you treat them like they are a ridiculous waste of time. You should be fired. The gal that put my iv port in hurt my arm so bad I had a bruise and a hard rock feeling bump in my wrist for a month. Never in 13 surgeries , and many appointments since I was young. Blessed with some bad health .. I have had, has this ever happened. I would suggest going somewhere else. PERIOD
