This review involves the Callaghan location, I was told there was an event going on and there would be venders talking about their products and giving free samples. For someone on a budget it intrigued me to be able to try one before spending $30 on the whole pack. I did not realize that I would be leaving feeling embarrassed and wondering why I even came. I walk in and immediately am met with skepticism from a lady that asked for my ID. Expected, I had it with me. Gave it to her and told her I was just going to look around. I was then followed and made to feel like I was doing something wrong. Stopped to read a pamphlet about the CBD products and was again interrupted and told I could take a picture and study it later. At this point I was over eyes on my back and I went and stood with the vendor waiting for him to be done with who he was talking to. I stood there about 5 mins. A few mins into talking to the vender I was interrupted yet again, and the vendor was told that if I didn't make a purchase I was not able to speak with them anymore. So I got all the info for the vendor, grabbed an air freshener and paid. Was then told I was free to talk to the other vendor. Thanks but no thanks, the absolute ugliest way to run a business and I will not be back. This is a direct review on management, anything but professional and inclusive.

They even have a belt buckle that's really a flask. They have a knowledgeable staff that are happy to answer any questions about whatever they have, even if they have to be vague about things. They have a great magazine selection, with all sorts of back issues and a variety of non-mainstream types of reading materials. They've got a lot of posters, and bumper stickers to go with them! Awesome! Many of the other Planet K's have a smashed up car as a planter (Planet K fought hard for them!) I didn't see one this particular location. So this really is a smaller planet in the Planet K solar system. I found the discount section in a corner shelf, and found some fun stuff for really cheap! $4 pocket hockey? Score!

The place has really opened up their space- it used to be crowded with a maze of tight cubicles of gallery and studios. Now, it's a wide open central gallery, with studios and smaller galleries off to the sides. In the front, they now have a coffee shop! Cool! In the back, they've paved in the side and back yards, where bands set up, and additional galleries can be found. All of the art is local, handmade, and ranges in media. Some of the art can not be purchased, as they are installation pieces. The art here is all reasonably priced, and there's a great variety of artists and vendors selling cool stuff. This place gets hopping for Second Saturday, a monthly art walk that centers around the galleries by the train tracks at South Flores. The art is just part of the scene- check out the live music too! Budding artists can rent space here to do their art, and sell it when they have events. Other than Second Saturday, you might need to book an appointment to come by many of the artists' galleries, but it seems that coffee is served all day.
