He gave our group (4 of us) a quick lesson on how to get on the board as well as the different techniques needed to stand and paddle. We took a nice "stroll" down the Salt Run as Cody explained some history of the area. The weather was perfect which meant the water was calm. We stopped mid way to take a rest and were provided with some water. Then it was time to head back. The tour lasted 1 1/2 hours. I of course wished for more! It was so peaceful out on the water that I didn't want to leave. This company has many different lessons/tours you can take including kayaking. You can also rent the equipment from them if you want to go out on your own. Be sure to tip your instructor/tour guide at the end!

We're not members so write all you want they said, so for others that think the BBB is so awesome I as a consumer and father of 4, Pop-pop of 6 beg to differ with you. Now, as for Ocean Extreme and its staff & owners I've personally known Cory and Emily for several years. In that time I've not seen a couple of nicer people that are in business. Emily goes out of her way in every class she teaches to help EVERYONE and keeps her fees so low I dont know how they can afford to drive there with their equipment. They always coordinate SUP Socials, SUP Moonlight Paddles, SUP Yoga, and SUP Surf Lessons( they sometimes ask folks for a few bucks if they have their own equipment other wise their fees are the cheapest around). They have a large Kite Selection, SUP collection and they now even carry the Bote Paddle-boards that all the guys want so they can fish off of them in comfort. Those boards are awesome.. They allow people to try boards which most places don't, they go out of their way all the time to help teach beginners and make sure during our socials everyone has their legal items as SUP's are considered Vessels.. Great people and great prices... Go see their inventory or let them take you on one of their SUP outings. You wont be disappointed .

We brought munchies, shrimp, sandwiches, beer and wine and cake of course, had a blast. Tom is a great host and sailor and knows the river. Can't wait to go back out. All of the instructors and videographers were awesome and fun. I was lucky enough to have Art as my instructor. He's absolutely the best! So funny and cool. He made sure I had the best, most adrenaline fueled birthday ever!! I've done a lot of industrial health and safety work and I appreciated how Art and everyone else were constantly checking and double checking equipment, altitude, and time; and worked like a well oiled team - I felt no worries. I highly recommend purchasing the video package if it's your first jump. Scotty was my videographer and he did an amazing job! Those videographers are really crazy! I received a link to my video package within hours and love the amazing video they sent. Of course I've shared it with everyone I know!! But what really surprised me was the number of high quality photos they sent as well. So worth the money! Personally, I think you'd be crazy to jump the first time and not get the video/pictures. They sent me a link for a discounted second skydive and as soon as I get my taxes filed I'm taking advantage of it! If you're thinking about skydiving for the first time, go to Skydive Palatka, they will take good care of you!!
