I had custom ear plugs made with Jim Stobaugh. The color selection was cute and the storage container was adequate. However, after having them in my ears for 20 minutes or so, my ears started to ache. For 3 days they hurt, just from ill-fitting ear plugs. What? He doesn't know how to create the perfect fit? Not by a long shot. Course I went back to have them inspected. He said could 'polish' them, hoping for a better fit. Pppfffttt. Thank heavens it wasn't a serious problem or a disease of some sort. I wouldn't have trusted him with that either. Oh, they can be super nice to you up front. Good luck if you have any challenges. Excuses out the wazoo. No respect for customers what-so-ever. Their record keeping is quite a mess too, violating all kinds of hipaa laws (be sure to educate yourself) but no one cares. I don't know, I don't know, I don't know, I don't know, I don't know, I don't know, I don't know was all we were told. Sure I complained. I've told them repeatedly that we have no intention of using any of their services ever again, but they keep sending offers in the mail. How about a simple apology? A molecule of compassion? They won't. Stop. Soliciting. Us. A more appropriate name would be The Worst Hearing Center. Just go down to the big city, for much better care.
