I would like to give Kinder Care a great shoutout. My son started 1 week ago and this has been the…read morebest experience for me. When I did my tour I wanted my son to do the tour with me, because yes I understand I am the one that has to make the final decision because a 2 year is not able to make his own decision. Hence, taking him on our tour was his way of letting me know this is a great environment for him. He had a meltdown due to not wanting to leave and that alone made me realize he likes it here. Kinder Care offered us a free day and that was 06/21/2024 and he had an amazing time. He adjusted to his teacher(s) and honestly loved them cause when they leaves him for the day (Rather Stepping Out Or Leaving To Go Home) he cries. My son is the type when he connects with you, he doesn't just open up to others like that but in time he will. I honestly had 1 small issue, I addressed it and it was resolved quickly. I can say Ms. Naraiah runs her facility well and I can say this parent has so much confidence in leaving my son in the care of her and her staff. I love how they provide the daily update. My son is talking more and the overall experience is worth the weekly price I pay weekly. I am forever grateful for Kinder Care and the level of care they provide to my son. We still adjusting but he doing very well. Oh! One last thing, I overall love the daily activities and events they have, when they do along with the parent night out event, which is appreciated to us PARENTS! Thanks, Kinder Care for EVERYTHING!

I was referred to Starchild by trusted sources who praised its reputation from 15 years ago, but my…read moreexperience was disappointing. While the curriculum for older kids seems promising, the infant and toddler programs are overhyped and underdelivered. Despite advertising features like sign language or Spanish, only Japanese was offered for babies, which felt less practical for my one-year-old. I delayed enrolling my daughter to save money by transitioning her to the toddler room after her first birthday, but I was still charged the infant rate because of undisclosed milestones like walking and holding a sippy cup. For $1,500 a month, I expected more transparency and support. Cameras are outdated, staff play favorites with babies, and my daughter--who has ASD--was often overlooked because she's quiet and immobile. Babies would crawl and walk over her (literally walking) while teachers played on their phones. The solution was to put her in a bouncer for hours away from the mobile babies. These issues led me to withdraw her and find a better daycare offering one-on-one care and inclusive pricing. Management and billing practices are equally poor. I had a $3,000 balance due to their billing error, unresolved credit for missed weeks, and unauthorized charges. Despite repeated attempts to resolve the issue, my concerns were ignored, and my account was sent to collections without any proper notice--no voicemails, no letters to my house, and no emails. After the manager who initially promised to address my concerns left the company, I was referred to a different billing manager, who also failed to respond to my emails. The lack of communication and professionalism across the board is unacceptable. In hindsight, Withdrawing my child was ultimately the best decision. It led me to a daycare that better supports her needs without outdated cameras or unjustified fees. Starchild may do well with older children, but for infants and toddlers, and children with disabilities it's simply not worth the money. There's no extra attention given to babies or children with special needs. For $1,500 a month, I expect teachers to maximize opportunities for one-on-one interactions, especially during downtime--not leave my baby in a bouncer for two hours while doing paperwork so they can leave early or playing on their phones. Firing one manager didn't resolve the systemic issues at this school because the entire staff fails to follow through.

I was the only adult in the lobby standing at the front desk and the lady behind the counter didn't even acknowledge me for at least a solid minute until I finally spoke up and said "excuse me." Then once I explained that I was there for a tour she acted annoyed that I was interrupting her day. Tossed her pen down, rummaged around for papers, heavy annoyed breathing, etc. She even radioed another employee to come deal with me (as she made me feel). As a parent who is considering entrusting these people with my child all day, it was a horrible first impression and I will not be back. If you're going to treat me like that, how will you be treating my child? No thank you.

After a few weeks our search was still going and we had nothing to show for it. It was at that point that my fiance recalled how much she enjoyed the daycare that she went to as a kid. She looked them up online and found that not only were they still open, they were still owned by the same people and still had some of the same employees. Enter Pee Wee Ranch. It's basically two older houses converted into a daycare. One building is for babies and younger kids, while the other is for slightly older children. The facility is very clean and well maintained. There's a maintenance guy there every day working on anything that needs attention. The staff is awesome! Everyone there is kind and caring. Serious shout out to Ms. Shannon. She has been absolutely amazing with our kid. My only complaint is that our daughter is about to be too old for Ms.Shannon's group, so she'll have to moved to the next age group. I have no doubts that whoever that instructor is will treat our child like her own. This place is great.

I was willing to spend a lot because I thought this was a good school. This is not a good school. Children are always putting toys in their mouths behind each other even if one of them was sick and didn't clean them off. Put their mouth all over the windows and hardly ever cleaned. Sharing cups. When my son had a runny nose they never cleaned it unless they are going to take pictures or when they see me or my parents coming to pick them up. I spoke to the teachers multiple times about this and the director. One day my son was sitting at the table eating and when I picked him up he had dried up snot all over his face and hair, and dirt around his mouth and hands while eating. (Have pictures) Another time he was sitting at the table crying with one shoe off and snot running down in his mouth while everyone else was eating and the teachers not doing anything. When they saw me one teacher grabbed his shoe and ran over with a tissue. I asked him why is he crying and why was he walking funny. When we got home and I changed his diaper and he developed a rash that turned into a sore to where he couldn't walk, sit, or take a bath because it was burning him. It was on his inner right leg, bottom, and genitals. (Have pictures) He was completely fine when I dropped him off. No rash and no redness. The director admitted that it was not the first time it happened and she is also was blaming it on it being an understaffed issue. She hired more people. I instantly started looking for new schools. His last week he was in school for only 3 days. That week I gave them a pack of 30 pampers. I received 5 pampers back. I looked at the changing chart and it didn't add up. I started to look at how many times I bought pampers within the time he started and they have definitely been using my diapers for other children. I separated home and daycare diapers. I called about it 3 days ago and still haven't heard back. I called again and no one will pick up. He is a lot happier in another school.
