Female staff have synchronised menstrual cycles - passive aggressive, terrible communication…read moreskills, not polite, resting b*tch faces, pretentious makeup, sloppy attitude, absolute simpletons, that remind me of those entitled girls in high school that screw their face when something is expected of them, that are too stupid to even realise that 'customer service' is not the job for them! Really condescending and poor people skills, you get the type of smile that's completely void of any human emotion that makes them look uncomfortable to even acknowledge you, that type of smile that looks like they're trying to deepthroat a stale bagel. These are the kinda girls that are keeping ITV2 in business. Always stalling to serve you, for what ever reason (maybe because their precious ego demands that you should offer them a sacrifice for having the AUDACITY to expect them to be attentive to customers ) I thought Poundland was bad This is all except for one nice lady who has a brown fringe - we like her But if she's not on shift - expect to leave with a sour taste in your mouth. These girls need to look into developing their interpersonal skills - and I wish them all the best in doing so, but let's face it - they're probably just gonna scroll Pinterest for new tattoo ideas and and look at homes they can't afford, and blame their partners for their own shortcomings in life. That said... it can be fun to spectate, just seeing a circle jerk of estrogen fuelled hate for customers, with a face that looks like it should be on a promotional leaflet for the awareness of IBS. I've seen more personality in a wet cream cracker. but there's something comforting in knowing that they're having a worse day than you

I was amazed at the variety of things you can buy at a B&M's, from really good quality real ale in bottles to household cleaners and almost everything in between. As Ryan-ere points out, don't assume that everything is cheaper, it isn't, but the majority of things for sale are sufficiently cheap to make it a vital stop on any serious shopping excursion.

***DISGUSTING SERVICE*** Been a loyal customer [family of…read moreshoppers] at the store in Bury [Lancashire] for over a decade. Visited on 13-Sep-2021 and took 2 items to till both of which were in the sale section [lots of the same items were reduced]. Took items to till and and was informed by Team Leader or Manager that 1 of the items was not reduced. I asked if they would honour the price and first the staff member stated that customers change the labels! The insinuation here being that within seconds of entering the store and picking up the 2 items I had somehow managed to remove and replace the price tag in plane sight of security/staff [these items have tamper proof stickers so if you did try to peel them off they fall apart]. Then informed that all items had been reduced in error and they would not honour the price. The staff member basically did not want to resolve the issue and demonstrated a real bad attitude. I was with my wife so remained calm, polite throughout, did not raise my voice, did not swear. The only comments made by me were "this is not good service" and that "I will leave the items". I then contacted SmythsToys online to purely make them aware of the mislabelling and was informed [QUOTE] "....our staff will not tolerate abusive behaviour... we define abuse in our internal guidance as shouting, swearing, name-calling, threatening, disrespecting, personally insulting, or attempting to blackmail". It seems despite having security staff, CCTV, a full customer account of events where all a customer wants is an apology that SmythsToys would choose to trust a poorly trained and arrogant employee than loyal customer who ultimately pay their salaries. Think I will be buying all our computing games, toys, bikes etc from elsewhere.

This is one store I and the rest of my family will be avoiding in future…read more I was looking for one of those large trays that you could use to soak the shelves and grill pans from the cooker in. I'd seen one on the Lakeland website but didn't fancy waiting for one in the post or having to deal with the manic number of people shopping at Liverpool One. So I looked around for something a little more local and more immediately available. I found a product on The Range website that would do the trick, a BBQ Grill Soaker, exactly like the product from Lakeland just a little bigger. Ideal. Or so I thought, this is when the fun began. The number for the St. Helens store is on the The Range website so I rang them. It rang and rang and rang, for ages, no answer. Tried again a few minutes later, same thing. And again a bit later. I was losing the will to live when someone eventually answered the phone, I said "Hello" and they promptly hung up on me! Ggggrrrrrr. I tweeted head office who advised that there were 5 of the item I was looking for in stock at this store but that I should ring first to check, despite me advising them of the above. A catch 22 really. This all happened the other day, but today I thought, sod it, I'll go to the store, I've been told they have them in stock, I don't mind waiting a bit, xmas shoppers and what have you, If I get what I need. Oh dear, I think I needed my head checking! After hunting around the store for 10 minutes or so I gave-up and spoke to a lady on the Customer Services desk, who told me that they don't have any in stock (without checking the computer for stock figures - apparently the "stock analyser" system is wrong anyway), and nobody would go and see if they could find one of these five items in stock for me. I left disappointed. Yep sure the store was a little busy, and maybe that's why they couldn't be bothered to help. But isn't that the point. Shops like this need people in them, shopping and buying, to stay in Business, if nobody was shopping and they had all day to help me, they'd be out of Business. The Range is seriously behind the curve when it comes to the whole shopping experience and the "service" shown to me by the staff of St Helens store was seriously lacking. Last time I ever give them my hard earned cash.
