The jingle that excited millions of children all over the UK, and myself, every Christmas, or whenever I knew my parents were taking a trip to Ikea. There's genuinely not a lot I can say about Toys R' Us apart from that it's brilliant, taking away the element of pester power. If you're a parent, I'm sure it's hell. But imagine one of those huge grocery hypermarkets. Fill it with Barbies, Playmobil, Lego, action figures, cuddlies, games and a number of other things the kidlets will grow out of in about five months, and there you have it.
Geoffrey the Giraffe has been the store's emblem for as long as I can remember and his cartoon face still makes me smile. The location next to Warrington's flagship Ikea and a giant M&S means that a day at this complex won't come cheap, but it might just spread a little happiness. read more
