The reason is that it's not been decorated for quite a while which gives it that tradional style/look. Inside they have a fairly wide selection of toys all at reasonable prices but you have to look for what you want as it's not labelled or signed like in the larger toy stores such as Toys R Us. It does seem quite compact too so not adviseable for a large pushchair or pram to take in to have a look around. There are a couple of staff around to help you though if you need it and they always try their best to help you so if something's not in stock they will try and get it in for you as soon as possible. It's situated right in the heart of beccles and is really easy to get too. Parkings never a problem here whenever I've been. I love going in this shop as they have so many little bits for party bags etc. as well as toys for boys, girls, preschool age and a good selection of larger outdoor toys too which are upstairs.

They have a good mixture of toys for boys, girls, toddlers and babies. Upstairs within this shop is yet more toys but these are all larger ones such as ride on toys and large box sets of tracks, etc. Prices of these can vary to being some very reasonable and others slightly more over priced. If there's something you're unable to find or if it's not in stock then the staff are more than happy to help you by ordering it in if it's available at another of their stores. This shop has the appearance that seems slightly dated but it's still very pleasant to look around in. This shop also stocks a good supply of tiny tinned paints for models that can also be purchased here. If it's little bits and pieces you are looking for party bags or bits children want to buy with their pocket money then this is the shop to go to as they have a wide variety suitable for both boys and girls.

Amazing time browsing through this monster sized toy store. The employees were situated in…read moredifferent toy areas providing demonstrations of new featured toys that they are selling. They try to enhance the interative experience while flying small drones with flashing lights over the heads of unexpecting customers, while others laughed. The escalators to each floor were always busy but you can walk up the four floors as an exhausting option - unfortunately we did this once and never again. This place was like a Toys r Us on steroids. Took pictures with an employee dressed up as a princess. Tons of fun for over an hour with a gelato shop if you get hungry. This should have been a paid attraction - just saying.

There are toys for all ages, and as you can imagine, it's quite overwhelming to shop even for me. it is London's premiere toy store. Established in London in 1760 (yup, that's old!) on Regent Street in the West End, Hamleys is very much like the old-time toy stores where workers demonstrated and displayed various toys to customers as part of the overall shopping experience Hamleys is so much more than 'just a shop'. As soon as you walk into the store, you'll be greeted by seven floors of wonder. Everywhere you look, there are toys out for you to try out and watch. You can catch live demos of the most exciting toys and games. There are also regular in-store events where they get superheroes and cartoon characters to greet the kids. There is everything that you imagine in toys and a little more. You can play, you can participate, you can have fun as if you were still a kid; it's a special and perfect place. Since it's almost always raining in the city, this is the perfect place to spend the day.
