As well as normal toy sand board games they also sell bikes, electrical toys and they even have a baby section selling prams and cots. Some of the prices can be a little steep, but the range available is rather impressive. Due to the huge range this shop can get busy bu tthey have a number of tills and the queu always seems to go down fairly quickly.
This shop is probably unrivalled in its poor customer service. We bought a lot of our baby…read moreequipment from this store and the staff were unable to answer any but the most basic questions. When we got the cot home we found that one side panel had been crushed and broken. When we took it back it was immediately replaced but we could have done without the 20 mile round trip - and not 1 apology. Having said that our buggy was fine, as were some of the smaller pieces of equipment e.g. moses basket. The store does have a good range of baby and nursery equipment. It is also realistically priced when compared to some more specialist stores.

This little toyshop in Rayleigh is a place I continued to visit well into my teenage years…read more It stocks toys for young and old, as well as computer games and, crucially, miniatures for Games Workshop games, of which I Was a collector. The staff are polite and helpful, and it is rarely full, apart from around Christmas. Well worth a look around, though the prices can be a little high at times.

Their prices can be a little higher than other stores in the area, but their customer service is really good. Also, it contains a Babies r us section which covers everything you could possibly need for a baby, right from pregnancy to birth and beyond.

A lot of the items are on display which means you or the kids can have a hands on try at the items prior to buying. Keep an eye out for discount vouchers on the net, you can pick up a real bargain sometimes.

When QD stores first opened in Basildon I loved it, but over the years I have felt that their range…read moreof quality products has lessened. It is a very large store that has ladies, mens and childrens clothing. It also has toys and homewares. I must say that even though I find it alot less interesting than it use to be I popped in there 2 weeks ago for a washing airer and found a lovely large one for only £7 (bargain). I also make sure that I really want the product I'm buying as they didn't use to give refunds even if you had proof of purchase. I will check this out next week to see if the policy is still the same and edit review if this is not still the case.

I find somethings very cheap - but the quality not always great and then other things to be a bit dearer than expected for this kind of shop. They sell most of the 'in' toys of the moment and also have a very good range of traditional wooden toys, musical toys and games, puzzles, etc. The selection of babies toys is very good too, I can always find a suitable gift in here. If you're into teddies, there is also a large selection. The girl who owns the shop is very pleasant too, very friendly and helpful - if you tell her the age of the child, she'll come up with lots of ideas for you. Highly recommended
