When we got the cot home we found that one side panel had been crushed and broken. When we took it back it was immediately replaced but we could have done without the 20 mile round trip - and not 1 apology. Having said that our buggy was fine, as were some of the smaller pieces of equipment e.g. moses basket. The store does have a good range of baby and nursery equipment. It is also realistically priced when compared to some more specialist stores.

It is a very large store that has ladies, mens and childrens clothing. It also has toys and homewares. I must say that even though I find it alot less interesting than it use to be I popped in there 2 weeks ago for a washing airer and found a lovely large one for only £7 (bargain). I also make sure that I really want the product I'm buying as they didn't use to give refunds even if you had proof of purchase. I will check this out next week to see if the policy is still the same and edit review if this is not still the case.

The staff are friendly to adults and to children, and never seem too busy to make suggestions or to look for something for you. The stock changes with the seasons and in the Summer they have an excellent range of outdoor toys and activities. When I have bought large items or a lot of shopping the staff have suggested I come back later to the rear of the building where there is vehicular access. They had lots of bikes, trikes, ride-on and other vehicles to try out as well. They have a large range of toys especially branded ones from television shows. The service is not good in this store. The cashiers were slow and they did not have many tills open. My experience of paying for my goods was not great. I queued for ten minutes and there was only three people in the front of me in the queue. The cashier then rang up an item that was left of the counter by mistake, but could not remove it. They directed me to Customer Services to have the item removed and the money refunded. I waited another five minutes here and whilst filling out my name and address the member of staff went over to chat to a colleague leaving me waiting for her to return. I then noticed my daughter had a cup in her hand, which we had forgotten to give to the cashier. I asked if I could pay for it there, but I was told I would have to queue up at the tills again. Needless to say I could not wait again so left. I have given this store 3* as they have a good variety of stock. However if I was giving a rating for the service alone it would be 1*.
