My husband works 15hr shifts 6 days a week and had trusted them to rebuild his transmission, yet when we got it back we had other problems with it that it didn't have before, the bolts around the pan were not tightened all the way, a few were stripped, and he had to replace the gasket. So not only did he drop 3k on his truck for it to be fixed but we had it returned to us leaking transmission fluid and he had to find the time on his ONLY day off to fix it himself. Had we known this would have happened, we would have taken our services elsewhere.
Not only did this happen but he and I had both taken the time to drop the transmission on our parts truck and had brought it to him, in case he would have to use that one in place of the old one, and he completely disassembled it using parts of it without us knowing to "fix" ours. My husband let it slide because what is a parts truck for right?
Wrong, he had also told us he would hold onto the other transmission and rebuild that one for us for $300 if we wanted incase someone else would want to buy it off of us. When my husband had asked him to do so he said he didn't have all the parts to it anymore and would have to collect the scattered pieces that he dis have for us.
