These guys really helped me out in a bad situation. Excellent and honest service station.
I usually try to keep my reviews brief, but Earl's Garage deserves to have their story known.
Labor Day weekend, 2004: My car was packed and ready to go for a camping trip upstate and I traveled about 25mi from my house when I heard a POP in the engine and the battery light came on. Shortly thereafter, the coolant light came on as well.
I knew that I was screwed. It was like 2:30pm on the Friday before Labor Day, my car was jam packed with camping equipment, food and booze and I just broke a serpentine belt.
Earl's came and got me quickly, towed me back to Elizabethville (where I was living at the time) and fixed my car that very afternoon. They could have tried the ol' "your water pump froze up" trick and really gouged me on the price, but they just put a new belt on and the car worked fine.
I was back on the road by 6pm and my weekend was saved. Kudos to Earl's Garage. read more
