They can also let the fescue grow, making it even more punishing. This is a tougher course than what it appears to be.

We payed for the whole stay upfront and the guy at the reception even wrote down my full credit card details, including the security code which nobody should ever do. The campground itself is nothing special, just a run down set of campsites with facilities that look like nobody has taken care of them in years. The portable toilets were clean though, I give 'em that. The sinks were disgusting, dirty and close to non functional. The showers were ok, even warm. I would not go there again, just not a nice place with any love in it. There are plenty of other lovely campgrounds nearby.

My partner ordered the velvet oysters appy, and found the sauce was rich and tasty. Oysters inconsistent - one dry and chewy, the others OK and moist. The West Coast Salad main was plentiful in mixed salad greens with a lemon-based dressing, with 3 prawns and lox salmon accent. Same style crab cakes were served on the Crab Cake Salad, with 3 prawns and mixed greens, some of them wilted. The view from the deck to the 1st and 9th golf greens was beautiful. The service was inconsistent - had to go inside the restaurant twice to request service after a patient wait. The menus provided were subsequently replaced with the "correct" menus. I make amazing pulled pork, and usually the sauce at other places doesn't cut it. This stuff was nice and balanced between smoky and sweet. Shawn had the Big Kahuna burger, and for once the bun had the perfect amount of toastiness. I can't speak to the golf, but the grounds looked superbly maintained, and if my father in law likes playing there, that days something. I would eat there again.
