Literally there's a queen bed and one person walking space on either side of the bed. No storage space nor closet. One sitting chair. Tiny bathroom and shower. Felt like an RV more so than a motel room....too cramped. $165/night....mehhhh. Location is great for dip netting. The check in guy was so lack luster. He didn't exhibit the type of hospitality I felt characteristic of places that charge that much for a closet space. Staff did respond quickly to requests and check out guy was warmer than the initial guy. They have some $250/night cabins shoved onto the parking lot and tightly packed RV lot. I guess I'd say...bravo on maximizing every square inch to make $$$! I would definitely look for a more spacious spot next time I'm in the area. I like to be able to stretch my arms and legs without hitting a wall.

There is a bathroom, small fridge and queen bed. The views are amazing. It may be less crowded because dip net season just ended a few days ago but we didn't feel overcrowded. I don't know why everyone is complaining, it lists what you get for the price online. The owners are the quiet type but were very accommodating. I wouldn't say it's a 5 star hotel but it was 5 stars in that it offered what it advertised, was clean and comfortable. It seems like most of the complaints are from the RV park users. If you're a mature adult and enjoy a quiet camp with a beautiful view I think you'd be happy here. It's not a 20's something party spot.

First I would like to say please look at the most recent reviews and not ones from years ago…read more Gloria and Justin are the new owners and are doing an amazing job. The whole staff is wondeful and can we single just one out. No we can not they all provided wonderful service and it is like spending time with family that you truly like. Accomidations were wonderful, food was amazing (thank you Brian and Gina(hope I got you name right). They have their children also helping and they are amazing...and the fresh cookie of the day was a big hit. Our fishing trips were great and our guides did a great job. We came home with more salmon, halibut and cod then our freezer could hold. Were we sad to leave, yes we were, would we do it again, in a heartbeat. Already planning our next visit back.

You don't need, however, to get past even one to grasp just how special Tower Rock Lodge is. I find it difficult to contribute anything new to the accolades they've already received, and though tempted to do so, will not plagiarize the eloquently written words of those who precede me. All people/things have faults, and many people would lump service industry businesses in with businesses that tend to have more than their fair share. When it comes to Tower Rock Lodge, however, as hard as I've tried throughout my experience with them to find even one, I've not been successful...but will update this review if/when I am. Don't hold your breath. I'm a firm believer in the notion that "if something seems too good to be true, it probably is", and I'll avoid it like the plague. Tower Rock Lodge is one of the rare exceptions to this notion. It is truly good. So, not to waste any more of your valuable time, I'll cease to ramble and let you get on with booking them for your next Alaskan fishing adventure. You will be, as the rest of us here are, elated you did. Any best wishes I could extend pertaining to your real adventure, will be realized when you book with Tower Rock Lodge. Simply put, they are the best!

Gabe, the Executive Chef, made sure our bellies were full of excellent cuisine. Our sockeye, coho, and halibut fillets were eagerly enjoyed by our friends and families back home. The customer service we received was again second to none. I'm anxiously awaiting my next trip back to TRL and cannot recommend them highly enough. You won't be sorry.
