We usually visit the Philippines in the off season. We stayed here in January 2018. When we arrived the parking lot for the shuttle down to the resort seemed a little sketchy but a new van showed up to transfer us to the resort. The little cottages were nice, nothing fancy but nice. Ours had a balcony overlooking the ocean where we enjoyed drinking our morning coffee (I did have to walk to the dining room and get it myself). We enjoyed the dining room ( my wife recommends the coconut curry soup :)
We rented snorkeling equipment at their dive shop basically for 24 hours. We walked off their steps into some of the most beautiful snorkeling. Be warned, there is no beach. We took a boat ride excursion to a neighboring island for a day on the beach. We purchased the meal which was a tasty grilled lunch.
The staff were nice, rooms quaint and adequate. A nice quiet place to relax and I would return. This is not a 5 star American resort
Only down side was the weak WiFi, we could have paid for an upgrade but wasn't sure that would help. read more
