You have to sign up for a year long program even if your kids just want to try it like mine did. And then if your kids end up hating it after a couple months and crying because they don't want to go then you are stuck paying hundreds of dollars a month for something you're not even using. I was told my payments would end exactly after a year and now that the year is up all of a sudden I'm told a different story that I still have to pay another month. Because apparently the office staff doesn't know what they're talking about when you ask them repeatedly when your last payment will be. So now someone else in the office is telling me a different story. It's honestly ridiculous that there's no other option. I'm not going to force my kids to do something they don't like. There's no understanding about that. They just keep wanting your money anyway.

Master Eun is still as wonderful as he was on our first day and he teaches every class except on very rare occasions when another instructor fills in (but they teach just like him). The higher degree black belts (4th +) he has who help test are just as encouraging as he is. They practice with the kids before testing begins and help them do their best. Testing is about showing off what they know, not humiliating them for any lack. It's always encouraging even if the kids feel stressed having all eyes on them (understandable! But no shame ever comes from the leaders). Master Eun is big on teaching leadership, humility, and respect and he models those values, too. I'm still so glad we became involved with EMAC! The kids have made many friends here and they see them outside of class time which is a blessing!
