We used Joe to sell our home in Louisville last Summer and he was outstanding…read more Before choosing a real estate agent, I conducted a lot of research to see who would be the best choice based on the investment they make into selling the property (time and effort, not necessarily financially) and how they promote their listings. The Joe Hayden Team stood out as the best Louisville has to offer: their organic rankings are excellent (meaning people find listings on his site easily), their social media presence was strong, and I could tell they put a lot of work into their listings. We spoke with Joe and then met with him at our home. He spent hours answering our questions, providing objective data regarding how many homes they sell, how long their listings typically stay on the market, and providing tons of info on comps in the area. We were concerned that our house, which was located pretty far from downtown and in a neighborhood with hundreds of similar homes would be tough to sell. Joe made the process incredibly easy and took extra steps many other Realtors don't (but should), like having a pro come and give us staging tips, having professional photographs taken, and a lot more. When we saw our listing we were blown away. His hard work and knowledge of what it takes to sell a home really paid off - our listing looked amazing and knocked out the competition. The second buyer that saw the property put in an offer. Our house went under contract 4 days after we put it on the market at 1% under asking price. We accepted and Joe (and Anne, who was also incredibly friendly and helpful) walked us through every step of the closing process. It couldn't have been a more pleasant experience. I've recommended the Joe Hayden Team to everyone I know. He's a true professional and a genuinely nice guy. I realize it won't always be this easy to sell your home, but I think you'd be hard pressed to find a better Realtor.

Semonin Realtors is one of the oldest and most highly regarded firms in Louisville, KY. My first contact was on the phone. He was highly emotional when. I described the atmosphere in my neighborhood: People were distraught because Ghayhoumi planned to put a driveway into the property behind my house. Ray was selling the land for his brother Who was out of the state. Ghayoumi agreed to sell me the property. I gave him $1,000. When the closing date was set, Ghayoumi said I was to pay his closing costs. This was a deal breaker. I signed a termination contract. Ghayoumi refused to give me back my $1,000. At the end I was glad not to have any further Business with such a nickle and dimer.

I had the privilege of being recommended to work with Dustin Robinson as my relator…read more I have never met him, although we had some similar friends and connections, and truly at the time I felt uneasy about venturing into being a first time home owner. But my wife was getting more and more excited about being a future home owner, and the past two years of renting started to bear the limitations and frustrations of not owning your own place. My wife set up a time to meet up with a realtor, and I reluctantly went not expecting to enjoy the meeting whatsoever. The semonin's location was impressive, and the staff was instantly friendly and accommodating. I worked strange hours at the time, but Dustin set up a time that worked for us. Most of his co-workers had already gone home, and we met in his office. It didn't take long for my fears to melt away. The meeting with Dustin was professional, and yet very friendly and caring. He could read we were new to it all and provided the information and assistance we needed to feel comfortable. We decided to take the plunge and start looking at houses. This is where the 5 stars comes into place, if I could give 10 stars I would. Dustin never gave the impression that we were a paycheck to him, in fact he was a friend, he was a great help to us, and he stuck it through till the end. He was always available when we needed to communicate and he fought for us to get the best deals, even if it meant deals falling through. Our first house he told us about an inspector who was fairly priced and was very much attention to detail. This inspector saved us from buying a house that looked fine, but had extensive termite damage. Dustin continued to encourage us, after our "dream house" had a terrible report from the inspection. A month later we found a better house. One that needed a roof repair. The sellers were not great at communicating and yet Dustin fought to bridge the gap, on the end we were able to get them to replace the roof with no expense to us and we now live in a home we absolutely adore. If it wasn't for Dustin we would of possibly bought the first house and would be living in a money pit. Semonin's services were so helpful. We couldn't of done it without them.

He helped us negotiate a deal we were comfortable with on our new home and for that we are grateful. Now that we are in the process of selling our old home I'm even more thankful for Shamus and his expertise. Unfortunately this has been anything but smooth sailing but Shamus has always been there to advocate for us and support whatever decision we wanted to make. He has done everything in his power to help us get the most out of our home and keep things moving towards our closing. We are truly grateful for him and his knowledge. We have also had the pleasure of getting to work with a few members of his team during this process and they have all been wonderful as well. I also want to especially recognize Eric Jones because he stepped up on several occasions to show us homes and be there for us when Shamus had scheduling conflicts and we so appreciated him taking the time to help us! I cannot recommend Shamus and his team enough!

From the beginning, Matt listened to my wants and desires and helped me find a home I absolutely love. He gave me honest as advice when it came to things like offers and negotiations, and he helped me make the best choices when it came to those. Matt also has a number of connections and made multiple referrals during the buying process and even after. All on those served me very well. He is very familiar with Louisville's housing market, which also came in handy. While he is very serious about his work, we also had plenty of laughs (like when we visited saw a bathroom with a toilet on each side of a single tub). I will also give a shout-out to Adrienne from the Group who sent very helpful emails to keep me updated throughout the process. I have had many friends use Matt and speak highly of him, so I expected a great agent, and that is indeed what I got! I definitely recommend Matt for your home buying and selling needs!
