He said to give him until Monday to get an estimate to me. Monday came and went, so I emailed to follow up. Someone responded, saying he was working 12 hour days, and that she would get back to me. Well, that was 4 days ago, and I haven't heard anything back. I understand that landscapers this time of year are extremely busy, but it doesn't cost anything to follow up and tell a potential customer you need extra time vs. ignoring them and making them wonder if you want their business. As much as I liked him and felt he would do a good job, I hired someone else because I don't think they run an organized operation.

I should have filed an official complaint with the BBB, but sometimes you don't want to deal with it, as what's done is done. Once you mangle a tree you can't undo it! Live and learn. Also, terrible cleanup despite being charged hundreds (just for cleanup! and no, I'm not a clean freak). Interestingly enough, I read a bunch of negative reviews on this company including on the BBB website (again, after the job was complete), and now that I'm finally posting a review, I noticed that the negative reviews are gone! As I post this to warn others, I just read that the BBB deletes reviews after a while, so now I know. I never thought I would need to save others' negative reviews in order to protect others! If you, like me when doing research, are looking for that one bad review to rule out a potential company, let this be it! Save yourself a ton of headaches and go elsewhere.
