He is very cost-effective and conscientious about keeping costs under control without ever compromising quality or integrity. RJF brings an old-school mentality in the best sense--smart, hardworking, and detail-oriented, making sure every "T" is crossed and every "I" is dotted. The crew was well managed, professional, and demonstrated strong work ethics with consistent attention to quality. Robert has deep knowledge of all facets of concrete finishes and applications, passed down through this second-generation family business. Trust, ethics, and standards are extremely high, and he made sure the finished product was nothing short of perfect. The job was well planned and executed, even under difficult weather conditions. In summary, I would confidently recommend RJF Concrete Construction for all concrete, masonry, and architectural finish work--both new pours and remodels. This is a contractor you can fully trust from start to finish. Thank you, Robert, and thank you to your entire crew.

It's been several months since I hired RJF to pour a 6" pad for a 2-post lift adjacent to my…read moregarage. The drainage slope of the pad was important to me due to potential flooding issues and past history of this area of the property, so I had specific instructions and desires about how I wanted the water to run off half the pad in a certain direction and the other half of the pad in a somewhat more complicated manner so it would end up in my driveway drain. This water management would avoid potential flooding of the garage. The torrential rains have arrived, and the performance of the runoff is absolutely perfect and channeling off exactly as intended. I couldn't be happier. The concrete is still crack free and the lift is installed and functioning well; also very happy events. Thank you RJF for your professionalism; this is a great addition.

My pour was 1670 square feet with 33 cubic yards 1697 that had a fair amount of complexity in terms of drainage and curbs and levels. The set up took 3 days including grading, forming and rebar with a crew of eight. I also added my neighbors smaller driveway that enlarged the project by 450 sq ft and took our pour up to 42 cu yds. On the pour day we had 14 finishers who did a quality job, and on the following day they returned to finish removing forms and did an excellent cleaning up removing all construction debris. This is a top quality second generation family company. I found the entire team to be easy to deal with, friendly, very professional and conscientious in their work. I now have them on my list of those i will choose to deal with in future. This is a top quality company that keeps its promises and works well with the customer. A+ in my book. We were getting concerned that our current contractor was not giving us the best advice. Dwaine also gave us a very competitive price, but it ultimately turned out to be too expensive to break our original contract. I wish we had found Dwaine in the first, as it would have saved me a lot of money and time. We will certainly be using Dwaine on any future concrete work we get done. They ruined and broke numerous branches while admitting that these plants are very delicate. They rushed the job that should have been at least two hours and finished in one hour. I should have stopped them after the owner told me to go inside and they will let me know when they were done. You never tell someone that's paying you $500 dollars to take your time and do a professional job to go inside. I should have told him to get the F off of my property and hired someone else. I would have been better off hiring men from Home Depot. Totally unprofessional, rushed the job, ruined a couple of plants and didn't give a shit how it looked, even after I showed the owner the damaged plants and all the broken branches only to find more as the branches dried out in the weeks to come. He tells me the plants are delicate, but yet they didn't treat them that way. I will never hire this unprofessional company again and recommend that you don't hire them either. They have plenty of help to do a good job, but refuse to do so. This was a total rip off job to the tune of $500. I'm so sorry I hired this clown to do this job, every time I look at what they did it makes me sick and pissed that I didn't throw them off my property and paid them nothing.
