A fast, efficient and detailed supervisor named "River" completed the job in less than 3 hours. He introduced himself and guys before starting to confirm the steps of the project. There was Great teamwork from start to finish with removal to clean up as well. No issues or complaints! River answered 2 of my questions before and during the gutter project. Then after my inspection before leaving Roseville, he handed me a 5 year warranty certificate for the next homeowner. Thanks again ! After sending a letter explaining my dissatisfaction with the work (and, frankly expecting no…read moreresponse) I got a call promising me that they would make it right. Sure enough, they followed through and re-did the entire job from scratch. Replaced the damaged plywood that had originally not been replaced, and re-replaced the shingles over the affected areas. The worker they sent to do the repairs was named James, and he worked a steady 6 hours on the project, and did a great job. I am very happy to see that Lockhart Roofing stands behind their work. Remember, if a phone call doesn't do it, write a letter. It usually gets to the right person, and in the age of social media, word-of-mouth is very important. I will certainly consider them on my short list of estimates when it's time to replace the entire roof in 10-15 years.

Because the leaf guard was not working, and debris was collecting within the first three months of installation, and we are in our 70's, and can't climb the ladder, our neighbor took a look at it. He is a licensed contractor for gutters and leaf guards. He thought he could fix the job (the leaf guard was not installed properly, but he could not. Well....we ended up having to pay $1100 for removal of Lockhart's work, and cleaning and replacing gutters, and installing a new leaf filter, which works magnificently. Lockhart would not offer any solution or compromise when we brought this to their attention. True, we did not take pictures , as they said we should have because climbing a ladder is a challenge, but why, after paying them $1300, would we pay another contractor $1100? We did have a receipt for both jobs. We trust our neighbor. I am hoping that the roof lasts.
