I will start b saying I'm a single female living in small town USA. I had my vehicle run hot and…read morebrought it after a friend looked at it. First there is no Saturday hours so we wasted our time going there based on the web info on hours of operation. Nonetheless I returned Monday around midday. The car was left and I was called later in the day with the repair estimates for replacement of water pump at a cost of $1500. The part would not be available for a week. I was searching info on line and saw the replacement for this part and labor was $500-700 so this shop was trying to get 2-3x the cost. I contacted the dealer to find out about a loaner car if I got the vehicle to Savannah. Paying for the towing was worth it 100%. The Lexus dealer cost was in the $500s and (unlike the representation made by the shop owner that I'd still have to wait for the part if I brought the vehicle to Lexus) the part was there. It was installed the same day and I left with my vehicle. It is one thing to support these small business owner but this exploitation of people in the community is a bit much. Now I will never go back to this shop and my experience was shared with people I've come to know in the area. I guess female with a nice car = ripoff at any cost for some individuals. It's shameful. Oh and oil change is $25 + cost of oil for $75-100. Well I will keep going to Walmart for $39.95.

The technician that came out, forget his name but he did a great job and explained everything that needed to be replaced. You guys are saving me from overpaying by going elsewhere, and he also told me what I actually needed vs what I didn't need like what Firestone told me. Thank you thank you thank you!! I'll definitely continue using you guys for all my major car repairs.

I am sad to report this final update. A week or so after the work was done, I began to hear a…read moremetal rattle when the vehicle was first started in the morning. I would hear the rattling for a few minutes till the vehicle warmed up, then it went away. The 2nd time it happened, the transmission had difficulty leaving park and going into reverse. I called the Lincoln dealership in Savannah as the owner of this mobile service made it clear, he was not interested in continuing our relationship based on previous interaction. JC Lewis Lincoln said the transmission was 2 QUARTS LOW on transmission fluid and that the procedure for post startup and lubricating the planetary gears didn't seem to be followed, which I can confirm, the vehicle was NOT driven per the Lincoln dealership requirements. It is now obvious to me, that the Lincoln Procedure for transmission fluid flush was NOT followed and it is probable that the tech did not know what was required and by extension is NOT CERTIFIED to work on a Lincoln. I am fortunate to catch this HUGE and unacceptable mistake and have it rectified before severe consequences. CAUTION: BUYER BEWARE.
