Lisbon isn't exactly the city where I expected to find the most authentic döner outside of Germany. Though I suppose it makes sense that this hole-in-the-wall is in Arroios, a diverse corner of the city described by Time Out as "Lisbon's coolest neighborhood" a few years ago. It tracks that this place is owned by a friendly couple who spent years honing their döner-making craft in Germany.
Though there are plenty of hotels on this stretch of Avenida Almirante Reis, I'd usually only see locals eagerly waiting for cheap eats here. (But it's a minute or two away from the Arroios metro station if you have a serious hankering for döner during your time here.) And when I say cheap, I mean it. €3 for a döner? Prices here are lower than the place I frequented in Berlin--which means that you should definitely treat yourself to a side order of the chow mein with your döner.
