And both times I've eaten from here, I've found the food to match up to the surroundings - it wasn't the cheapest Chinese I've ever had, but both times (duck rolls then sweet and sour battered chicken) the food was immense. There wasn't perhaps as much 'topping' meat as with other places, but I've yet to have a heartier portion bestowed upon me. Regardless, I was finished before having gotten through a third of the food-so had plenty for the next day. Also worth noting, a little spicier on the whole, but this is fine by me. I'm getting less and less affected by spice as the days go on! I'm a serial re-heater, mostly as I order for one, and for delivery end up with gargantuan amounts of food. As such, there are a few choice places whose chips always reheat well, and I remember these things. Sadly, New Ho isn't one of them. That's not to say when arrived fresh they're no good-they're great in fact -but just didn't have the same zing after a turn in the oven. Perhaps as they're not so chunky as other places. So when this one came through my door I thought I would add it to all its friend in the kitchen draw and possibly give it a go someday. That day came quite quickly as we really fancied a takeaway the Friday after it arrived. I was very pleased with the vegetarian selection on the menu and it took me a while to choose, after choosing and placing the order we were told it would take between half and hour and forty mins to be delivered. It arrived after about twenty mins and the delivery man was well presented and friendly. The food was lovely and there was a lot of it, well worth the price; I would definitely order from Ho Garden again as all the vegetarian options sound interesting and if lasts nights was anything to go by then it will be a nice alternative to cooking on a Friday night.
