    Nice cuts and Sandra is caring and does a great job.

    This is an old one but a good one

    We've been bringing our 5 year old here since he was 2. We tried those kid places and, though they are fun, the haircuts were inevitably terrible. Then I saw a woman at the park with 3 boys who all had great haircuts so I asked her where she took them and she said this place. We've been coming ever since. We drive from City Heights to Lemon Grove for his haircuts. They already do a great job for a great price.

    I took my minor son to a barbershop for a haircut. Prior to the service, I clearly instructed the…read morebarber not to cut my son's hair bald in the back. Despite these explicit instructions, the barber disregarded my request and proceeded to cut my son's hair in a manner I did not authorize. In an effort to remain calm and avoid escalation, I paid for the service and left the premises. However, upon further reviewing the haircut, I became increasingly dissatisfied and contacted the barbershop to request a refund. During this phone call, the owner responded in an aggressive and unprofessional manner, using profane language and stating that I'm broke and I just want a free haircut. He also indicated that the haircut could be fixed, but did not address my request for a refund appropriately. I subsequently returned to the barbershop in person to request a refund. While I was standing inside the establishment, calmly asking for my money back, the situation escalated. The individual shown in the attached screenshot attempted to physically confront and fight me. The owner had to keep pushing him back. In the video you see me ask him why is he walking up on me. And then Sam, the guy who did my son's hair they told him to leave so when I got back, he was already gone. It's 11 AM on a Saturday. you know he just went to lunch real quick and came back. They're playing in peoples faces and stealing peoples money. The individual shown in the screenshot has since contacted me via text message at 3:23 AM using my phone number obtained through my phone call to the shop eailier. This message was unsolicited and constitutes harassment. For any woman why would this man feel OK with texting me at 3 AM cussing me out. He should know. I can easily call Tau and find out who called him today. Which I will be doing first thing tomorrow morning when he wakes up. I will be using these documents in court. The message says I haven't seen him in a while ....okay.... that still doesn't mean I didn't grow up with him since I was 12. My family's been going to him for years. He does not know what he just started right now like literally first thing when he wakes up I'm calling him!!!!! I was simply requesting a refund for services that were not performed as instructed. As a single mother accompanied by my child, I felt unsafe, threatened, and intimidated by the behavior of multiple individuals in the shop. This conduct--including attempted physical assault, verbal harassment, and the misuse of my personal contact information for late-night communication--is unacceptable and may constitute harassment and other violations under applicable law. I intend to pursue this matter in small claims court. Based on my experience and a review of Yelp feedback, this does not appear to be an isolated incident, particularly in cases involving children. I encourage others to share their experiences, as patterns of conduct are important. If anyone has had a similar experience with this business, I welcome them to come forward.

    Legendz barbershop Owner TIM…read more On May 1, 2025, I made a Venmo transaction for Braids by Sonia, but accidentally sent it to, Tim Dadaba the owner of Legends Barber Shop and my barber at one. I contacted Tim via text, May 1 who indicated receiving an email notification of the transaction (full text messages may be uploaded to Google and Yelp). Nonetheless, Tim agreed to refund the in error payment. On May 2, I contacted Venmo, conveyed the situation, and they provided a case number for Tim to use to reverse the $190 transaction. Although I provided Tim with the case number and instructions of the process, I didn't hear back from him for 3 weeks, by which time I had already disputed the charge with my bank and venmo canceled the claim due to the owner of Legendz failed to contact venmo to dispute the claim (email reply will be attached to Google and Yelp). When communicating with Tim via text, he's insisting that I contact Venmo again to reverse the charges, which I'm unable to do. Tim has sent voice and text messages expressing extreme frustration about the inconvenience and mentioning an issue with his significant other, but I'm unclear how that relates to him taking $190 from me. I've informed him that I've spoken to my bank to dispute the charge. As of today, July 17, 2025 my banking institution finds "no error" thereby reversing the disputed amount of $190.00. The unnecessary waste of my time has led to mental frustration and confusion, resulting in a series of issues including gas, debit card replacement, a new credit card, a Better Business Bureau complaint, public notification through various media outlets, and a small claims court case for $190, plus any additional fees (court & notary) etc. Side note: My transactions with venmo clearly show no transactions between, Tim and myself since August 16, 2023. However, the business I intended to pay reflects $190 transaction on multiple occasions in the past year and a half. My initial interaction with Tim required me to make a deposit for first time consumers per his policy, after the initial visit he reversed the deposit on venmo thereby crediting my account. What sets this transaction apart? The owner of Legendz Barber shop has stolen a $190 invalid payment then later created a scenario to justify stealing my money and needless to say Tim and myself never had an altercation when I was a client.
