Used to love this place but haven't been in about 15 years because service was starting to go downhill then. When our Lab was diagnosed with cancer they tried to sell us on every single treatment. She was 10, most of these treatments she wouldn't have even survived at her age and would've have ended up cost thousands. They used to be great but now their compassion carries a hefty price tag.

I have never let someone else groom my dogs so I wasn't sure what to expect but I don't think this…read moreshould be anyone's standard. As soon as I pulled up to the place I wanted to back out. When I went inside there were a handful of small dogs running around, pet fur everywhere, the place is a disaster and there are pet birds in the back. It smells very strong and perfume-y but not in a good way. The lady had to clean up dog pee which, fine. I decided to try to look past everything and hope for the best and when I picked my dogs up less than 2 hours later they smelt strongly of wet dog. I got spooked before leaving because there was blood on the floor, turns out it was dried. Not sure if I was more relieved or not. My 70lb dog has a wound on his nose from being locked in one of their dirty looking cages too. I feel like my dogs came back to me more dirty than they were before I brought them to the place and I honestly sobbed on the way home. Worst experience. To top it off, when leaving the place I nearly stepped in fresh dog poop that looks like the dog had worms so now I will be worming my dogs and figuring out how to get them bathed elsewhere. Do yourselves and your dogs a favor and avoid this place until they have higher standards. I feel bad because the lady was nice but oh my god this is not how anyone should be operating. It's gross.

Our dog was in pretty bad shape, unfortunately (naughty pet parents let him go too long between grooms) but he came home looking wonderful & smelling lovely. We came to the right place & we will for sure be back. Thanks, Corinna!

Our entire experience with P-Gems has been truly amazing, worth every cent! Due to a planned…read morevacation, we took a few months to make our decision, which worked in our favor as we kept falling in love with different puppies in various ways. We even created a list of the top 5 physical features we desired, but that was set aside when Treasa took us on an emotional journey through Facebook, Instagram, P-Gems website, past and upcoming parents. The pictures and videos provided by P-Gems were incredible, and we watched them hundreds of times. The weekly updates, starting after we made our choice, made it a truly remarkable experience. The only thing I completely ignored was the description of the pups' personalities, thinking it wasn't important. I couldn't have been more wrong. From the moment Treasa put Charlie in my arms until now, he has been exactly as she described on the website and in the weekly updates. Charlie reminds me of a very happy, playful, bunny! Then I held Rocky, who melted against my chest and stayed there during the two-hour drive home. Rocky reminds me of a chill, old soul, and his long baby hair is intoxicating to touch we can't find words to properly describe how it feels just truly indescribable. Both of them are amazing in their own right! When we looked at pictures of adult Chi's we liked and compared them to their baby pics, we were shocked to find that some of the puppies we initially passed up grew up to look like the adult Chi's we desired! Another thing we love is the soft momma's blanket that comes home with them, smelling of their mom. As I write this, they are sleeping with them, and I often catch them burying their noses into it. Our boys have brought so much joy and love into our home. I can't imagine having only one because they bring so much joy to each other. Knowing that we have a boat, I was all in when it came to the boys liking water and getting wet. I bought a 10$ soft tub liner from Amazon, filled our tub with warm water just above their bellies. With a swimsuit I jumped in with them and included a massage; they love it. During their first boat ride, they have no problem getting dunked in the river when they show signs of getting warm. Our boys also enjoy bike rides to the fullest. From the very beginning of discovering Precious Gems to this day, our experience has been life-changing in the most amazing ways. We enjoyed the months-long hunt for our forever furry family members, and we loved learning about them. The incredible payoff came when we finally got our boys. Thank you, Precious Gems, for our adored boys; they bring joy to a whole new level!
