I'm surprised at some of the other reviews for this place, but I suppose being from far away and…read morenever quite experiencing a restaurant like it adds to the "wow factor".
Upon arrival, this restaurant atop a mountain in the woods looks like a witch's cabin from an old fairytale. When you get inside, it still looks like a witch's cabin, with three separate rooms to choose from. The first is small dark and nightmarishly fun...and a few hundred years old. In here, you can cook sausage over a flame in the center of the room. The 2nd room is a lot newer, a lot brighter, with more seating, stained glass windows, and a large firepit within a gargoyle's head at the helm. The 3rd room, even newer yet is quite large, a little more fancy, and looks like an enchanted (or haunted) forest, with a larger menu.
The smell of campfire smoke is present in all three rooms, adding to the overall theme/vibe. The food itself is authentic Polish, from pierogies to kielbasa to the zurek soup in a bread bowl; all of it good and filling. Overall, a very unique and memorable experience. I would recommend this place to any tourists passing through the area.
