Curtis was our photographer, and every aspect of working with him was awesome. Having wonderful photos was a top priority for me, and after booking the church and reception venue, our photographer was next on my list. Curtis' photos are exceptional, and I am so happy he was a part of our wedding. We did an engagement shoot with Curtis as well, which was a really fun way to get to know him, and also for my husband and I to get comfortable with having our photo taken. I am beyond thrilled with how our photos turned out, and planning out our day with Curtis was a breeze. We met a week beforehand and planned out the day and a shot list (including a good weather and rainy weather shoot locations), and I was completely at ease with Curtis whenever he was shooting us. He was never intrusive at our wedding, but managed to capture all the moments perfectly, and his experience showed at many instances - I really appreciated guidance on how to toss my bouquet for a perfect shot, and having someone else guide the photo taking and help pose us. After our wedding, we ordered photo books and prints through Curtis, and they are beautiful and high quality. I'd highly and enthusiastically recommend Curtis to any couple looking for wedding photographer.

I went into my consult nervous and Sarina reassured me that i would not feel uncomfortable and i would have a blast. The day came and she was right. All the ladies were fantastic we shared some good giggles throughout the shoot. The toughest part wasnt trying to look sexy or suck in my tummy it was trying not giggle the whole time. When it came time to selecting and reviewing my photos it was unreal - seeing myself like that and how talented Sarina was in placing me in positions that best flattered my body made me feel awesome about myself but help me to see that - yes i can be sexy and be a size 12. It doesnt matter what size you are - stretch marks - pimples - theyre so talented from editing to positioning you - to making you feel confident & sexy. I will recommend them to everyone and anyone whose looking to lay half naked and expose themself in a very personal way- whether its for you or that special someone - the photos wont ever do their talent enough justice. If you are looking for a wedding photographer, stop your search and contact Lauren. Trust me…read more I cannot even begin to say how amazing our wedding photography experience with Lauren was. Choosing Lauren was the second best decision we made that day, and the photos she took captured the best decision perfectly. Lauren is so open and inviting, and fit in with the group so well. There was no awkward silence, or weird posing. She made the photography experience so smooth and natural. With one of us being a photographer as well, the search for a wedding photographer had a high standard. Lauren hit every item on the list. Lauren's style is timeless, and it was exactly what we were wanting. The photos show exactly that. The skill and talent Lauren has is top notch, and the way she frames photos is amazing. Lauren knows how to use angles, lighting, and the environment she is in for the best picture. No picture felt forced, looked staged or unnatural. It was as advertised, "relaxed, romantic and candid". We are BEYOND happy. We are so grateful for Lauren, her team, and the result of the work she did. Seriously, stop looking, contact Lauren. Her awards speak for themselves, the reviews are amazing. She was the best!

We had so much fun shooting the "formal" shots in airlines and at the comic book store, and our guests couldn't get enough of the awesome photo booth. I cannot recommend Kelly enough. We found out about Kelly because another friend had hired him. I…read morewas impressed with his ability to manage the gigantic groups for the group photos at that wedding and his eye for detail so when my fiance and I got engaged I immediately looked him up. I had been part of other weddings where the photographer did not handle big groups well and I felt that Kelly's own ability to manage may have been a good indicator of his experience and expertise. Now, having gone through my own wedding with him as my photographer I was definitely not disappointed. Throughout our entire experience with Kelly we were impressed with his professionalism, attentiveness, but especially his friendliness. I feel like his photo style reflects a bit about what you can expect when you work with Kelly - relaxed and easy-going yet detailed and professional. His pictures are the perfect touch of candidness and in the moment yet beautifully composed. He gave really good instructions for us modelling newbies which was another concern of mine. But luckily, he knew how to explain poses well and how to direct us and the bridal party. Another thing that I loved about Kelly is that he was willing to take into account the bridal party suggestions and the personality of the bride and groom. I was part of a wedding where the photographer militarily stuck to their planned poses and rejected most suggestions from the bridal party. The photos did not capture the heart of the bride and groom or the bridal party. My friends were incredibly disappointed in that experience. So make sure you find a photographer that you jive with! I also highly recommend spending the extra to do a day-after or engagement shoot with him. We loved our day after pictures and he came up with such brilliant ideas for them. You get more time with Kelly in your respective wedding outfits so the poses and shots get to be more creative. It is wicked fun. Of course he is a bit on the medium-high price range for Edmonton wedding photographers. But for my husband and I that was one area we felt it was okay to spend extra on while cutting costs in other less important areas. The wedding day goes by so fast that many of our friends and family said photography is one of the most important parts of your wedding planning as they will be the ones capturing the memories. We now have photos that we love showing off and getting prints of.
