I had the opportunity to help in both the "Three School" class and the "Kindergarten Readiness" class. The teachers are consistently caring and attentive to every child's individual needs. The classrooms were always extremely clean and organized. The teachers work very hard to maintain a sanitary environment, with hand sanitizer at every doorway, which they encourage the students to use frequently. The snacks the teachers provide are just the right size and usually healthy. I was impressed with the range of activities for which they provide the students. They follow a routine, but the crafts and games are always changing. I would highly recommend this preschool.

The teachers are incredible and loving and the academics are top notch. Our children are now in Kindergarten and 1st grade and are excelling. They learn memory verses, reading, math...even their phone number and address. A perfect mix of structure and open ended play. The Young 5's students have one on one time each week where they work specifically on the areas they need it from letter recognition to counting to reading. Perfect for kids with summer and fall and even winter birthdays who would benefit from the gift of an extra year before starting Kindergarten. Tuition is extremely reasonable and the optional "Scrambled Eggs" Fridays are a blast! Maple Tree is like a family! Also, they have small class sizes with two teachers who are genuinely happy to greet each child every day. They recognize every child for their unique gifts. When we brought our child to Kindergarten screening the screener mentioned that they have noticed that Maple Tree grads are especially well prepared. We felt that our son was not ready for full days yet so half days at Maple Tree was truly a gift.

There are also benches along the trails where you can sit and enjoy being in the middle of nature. Interpretative signs throughout the park provide information about the plants and animals found in the preserve. The Bunker Interpretative Center has excellent exhibits for kids and adults as well as clean restrooms. The day I visited, there were only a few other people walking the trails which added to the tranquil landscape. I highly recommended a visit if you in the Grand Rapids area.
