Dutch Mill Café and Bar is a quiet little place. We came here for lunch, on our trip up to Breckenridge from Santa Fe on SR285. It has sandwiches and burgers, which were all good. When we stopped in, it seemed as if the entire town of Antonito was here. It's actually two businesses which are adjacent to each other, sharing a common passage way and bathroom. Three Stars, "A-Okay".

Shout out to this Colorado staple. My father used to take us here and he loved it when he was alive this was his spot! He enjoyed the home fries and everything about this place. Tonight did not disappoint. The pork chops and fries were on point! Service was great too!!

This is one of two places in Antonito open before 11am and serving breakfast. They were directly on our route so we stopped in. As we were entering, a party of four was leaving and one of them made a point to turn towards me and say it was so worth the wait. Wow! When we entered, there was only one other person eating. It was after 10am, so after the rush. As we perused over the menu, I felt that the prices were really reasonable and they didn't overcharge for combos and sides. That was nice! We entered on the café side, but it's attached to a bar on the other side and the restrooms are in the back of the bar. I noticed the bar had a lot of space and even more seating than the café, as well as several pool tables. I would say the café had about 10-12 tables and then a register to pay at the back. My husband ordered the quesadilla which was thick and hit the spot. I'm not positive of the price but I believe it was $5-6. Service was friendly and the delivery time was good. Unfortunately the flies were WAY too persistent. There were only 2 flies but they were working together to badger us out of food, lol. I can't really be mad at them for having 2 persistent flies harassing us, it was NOT an infestation! I ordered the strawberry pancakes and am pretty sure they were $6 or maybe $6.25. I never know what to expect in this scenario. I always hope the fruit is cooked into the pancake because I think that's the most awesome thing in the world. These were regular pancakes topped with a generous portion of strawberries and whipcream. The best part is the strawberries had soaked into the pancakes- it was delicious and didn't need syrup or anything!! It was way too much to finish too. I had ordered a side of papas which was under $1.50 They were good but a little on the cold side. The only thing I didn't think was worth the price was $3.49 for 3 small pieces of bacon. Everything else was reasonable and tasty.

    Burrito- perfect!

Dutch Mill doesn't sound like the right name for an authentic Colorado-style Mexican restaurant...don't be fooled! Food was delicious! The restaurant is located right on the Main Street- dining room was modest and there were a few shaded tables out front where we chose to sit. Our waitress was busy but friendly and checked on us often. Green chile was perfect- flavorful with a little heat. A great stop for lunch when passing through Antonito!

We came in, sat down, got ignored, and left before I had a chance to worry about the food.

I'm so glad we did! What we loved: * Friendly, welcoming owner and staff. * Excellent coffee. * Freshly made panini sandwiches. * Homemade pastries. * Clean restroom. * Fun local folk art throughout the café that gives the place such a great community vibe. What we ordered: * #1 Turkey Pesto Panini: Absolutely delicious. Fresh, flavorful, and made to order. It also came with a bag of chips and a large pickle, which was such a nice surprise. * Cherry turnover: Flaky, buttery, and filled with plenty of cherry filling. * Strawberry rhubarb pastry: Just as delicious. The perfect sweet treat with our coffee. I also wanted to mention that I respectfully disagree with the review that called this place "just okay." I've eaten at cafés all over the world, and this didn't feel or taste average to me at all. Everything tasted fresh, homemade, and thoughtfully prepared. You can feel the love that goes into running this place. Whether you're a local or just passing through San Luis Obispo, I would absolutely recommend stopping here. We will definitely be back the next time we're in town!

Not only do they brew some of the most delish coffee, but they also sell the beans. I judge coffee by the taste of a cup of ground black coffee, nothing else. This coffee is rich in flavor and has a smooth finish. It makes you want to enjoy the view outside while listening to your favorite musicians. This place also sells artwork by local artists which I love. You definitely want to get here early so you have time to try one of their fresh baked goods. They go fast so plan ahead. Oh, and the best thing is that when you get home to wherever home may be, you can contact them and order their coffee beans to be shipped to you. You will never meet sweeter people than the ones in this coffee shop

I found the coffee to be decent and the sandwiches themselves were okay in terms of flavor, but the prices felt rather high for what we actually received. My main disappointment came after half a day of strenuous activities in the park when we finally opened the packaging to find teeny sandwiches with really small portion sizes. Even after eating them, we were still quite hungry, which was frustrating since we needed a filling meal to keep our energy up. While the quality of the food and drinks wasn't bad, the combination of high prices and tiny portions just didn't deliver the value we needed for a park day.

Loved how cute this shop was - it had so much character to enjoy. Thankful they opened so early at 7am so we were able to get some coffee. They had a great drink menu - from just coffee and espresso options to tea to blended drinks. Grabbed a Matcha and London Fog - not the best we've ever had, but still tasty and a good start to the morning. Also had nice breakfast options. Comfy seating options. We were able to grab a nice couch to sit and enjoy. They also had free Wi-fi and clean bathrooms. Street parking was easy to find. Overall, a good choice for your morning coffee!
