The flavor of the chicken and the coleslaw was so bomb, and complemented each other perfectly. The bread was kind of like a small French roll. Very soft, fresh, and tasty. It didn't come with any sides, but the price was reasonable, and just the sandwich was enough for me. The inside of the restaurant was very small and cozy. I had planned to go outside when my food came up, but I was so hungry, and it looked so good, I ended up devouring it right there. I barely even had time to snap a pic of half of my sandwich at the "Forever Alone" booth where I was sitting. Staff was friendly and the ambiance was quirky but cute. As a plus, this is a great area to just walk around and explore all the local stores and scenery for a few hours or so. Would def stop by here again if there weren't a million other great sounding places to explore within a quarter-mile radius.

The coffee was great as well - not over-roasted, just the way good coffee should be. There's also a wide selection of teas if you're not a coffee drinker. The staff was welcoming and very friendly. I highly recommend stopping by if you appreciate healthy food and happen to be passing through or staying in Mount Shasta. Several menu items were unavailable, so we had to customize and add things just to piece together a complete order. That ended up pushing our total to $86 for three people--and we didn't even order full meals. The receipt included $9 smoothies, a $3 egg add-on, a $4 shrimp charge, and $14 for chips and salsa. We paid fine dining prices for a counter-service to-go experience with limited options and slow service. It came across as a bit of a rip-off. The atmosphere was hectic, and the staff seemed overwhelmed and unable to multitask. The only real highlight was a blond staff member with blue eyes who had a kind demeanor and great communication. He's the only reason this isn't a one-star review.
