I contacted Dustless World on 14/07/2013 via email for a End-of-Lease cleanup to happen on 02/08/2013 in Belmore NSW area.
On 15/07/2013, James Chang from Dustless World quoted me $300 via email for my 2-bedroom carpeted unit to be cleaned up (Including steam cleaning the carpet).
I accepted the quote on the same day via email.
James emailed me back saying he will send 2 cleaners on 02/08/2013 at 10.30 am.
At 7.20 am on 01/08/2013 (Day before the cleaning date) I sent a friendly reminder to James about the cleaning to occur next day.
He replied at 9.50 am on 01/082013 saying - "2 cleaners will be your place tomorrow at 10:30am."
Everything was going smoothly ... until -
At 2.47 pm on 01/08/2013 (same day) I received a call from a certain "Andy" who is from 'iGreen Carpet Cleaning Services Sydney'. Dustless World, it seems, sub-contracted the job to another company.
Andy said, he can't come at 10.30 am. He can come at 3.00 pm. That was very problematic for me as I need to submit the keys by 5.00 pm before the Real Estate closes, and I know for a fact that it is not possible for 2 people to clean the entire unit and steam-clean the carpet in less than 2 hours.
Disappointed and disgusted by Dustless World's misleading timing, lies and broken promises - I have called them up and cancelled the booking.
I have then called another company called Apple Cleaning Company (0488 992 771). Natalie on the phone was very professional and helpful. She organised everything for me. Apple cleaning charged $345 instead of $300 - but that's a price I am happy to pay because I want certainty on my last day of the lease so I can return the keys on time.
Dustless World is useless. Don't use them. read more
