My bother and I retained Boppre Law Firm in July of 23 to help us get resolution on our late…read morebrother's estate. It was a situation where there were 3 PR's, one was not motivated to close out the estate for whatever reason and we hoped that pressure from an attorney would help us get resolution. Which it did, 7 months later. That is the reason for 1 star, we got resolution. I would put no stars based on customer service, attention to detail, communication, value, etc. The estate had no bills aside from a funeral expense that the one PR wasn't willing to pay, however ND Century code allows an estate to be charged funeral expenses. Other than one invoice being paid, there were no additional challenges, it was very cut and dry. Morgan Glines was our attorney and I would not recommend her at all. She seemed to have cared less, the communication we had with her was not personable, during the 6 months of services there were less than 20 communications between Boppree and us (this includes her para reaching out) We had to check in with her and ask where things were at, she was not pro-active in solutioning for us. Her lack of communication led to confusion, left us wondering what was going on, paperwork was filed, and we didn't even know about it, Judge made communication to the attorney's without our knowledge. I sent an email after a conversation I had with Morgan and the bank in which my late brothers account was at, where the bank had incorrectly released the funds; Morgan made mention of "this is exactly how I thought this would go..." but did not relay that to us. I sent a follow up email to Morgan expressing my distain for the situation and how her lack of communication was unprofessional. I did not receive a reply, apology, or anything regarding this. Additionally, the icing on the cake is their lack of attention to detail. Documents were incorrect when filed with spelling errors, the last email I received from her assistant was for closure of service. This letter thanked us for using Boppree for "mineral exploration representation". It was only fitting that this be wrong as well. For $4,000 (an agreed upon cap) we were sorely disappointed. If you are looking for compassionate, empathetic, knowledgeable and attentive attorney's I would look elsewhere.

Marlys' name came up quite a bit and people spoke very well of her. Well, in a small town that counts for alot and so being from a super small town myself I felt lucky that I was able to squeeze myself into her busy schedule. If you are from out of town and not sure where to go, then I would recommend this great company. If you are from here then, you probably already knew that. When I write reviews, I think it is important to thank those people who work hard and do a good job. And I am happy to do that here.

Initially, Jeromes reviewed the damage and ordered the part, quoting us approximately $500. They said that they did not need anything from us (pictures, old parts, etc.) to complete the maintenance. However, at our appointment they could not complete what was agreed upon because they needed more parts and, in fact, asked us for the original parts. Then, they quoted us a new price (approximately $700) and asked if we could reschedule. The price requote is an issue but the rescheduling might not have been an issue other than we have limited time due to us moving out of state the week of the original appointment. This is frustrating because time is money and a business who does not honor there original agreement and the customer's time is highly suspect. I would not boycott this place just be careful and be precise when discussing price, time, and issues with them.
