One very minor problem with a radiator was resolved within hours. The decorative state throughout was adequate, and excellent in the two newly refurbished bathrooms. The built-in log burning stove was amazing, and the dog slept (or cooked) in the log space underneath it of an evening ! We received good advice and excellent service from the ladies at Acanthus who, despite a snowstorm that was closing roads in Suffolk, stayed to give us our key and directions. We have booked again for April 2011 and would not have done so unless we were 100% satisfied with the premises and service from Acanthus.

You have to buy a bus pass if you're going into uni, but once you get over that then it's well worth having. It's cheap rent-wise, and the kitchens have a cooker. If you're coming to live here, make sure you bring lots of posters and photos to cover the walls!
