The minute I stepped into this church, I felt the difference from other churches in the area I've attended a few months prior. The congregation was very welcoming and Pastor Eddie relayed God's powerful word with such conviction I rededicated my life to Jesus that day. Since then, my family and I hardly miss a service, we come here not only to worship God but also to fellowship with members and new attendees from all walks of life. I love how diverse this church is. The praise and worship team also rocks the stage and sets the mood to receiving Gods grace. One of the reasons I love coming here are the amenities the church provides the congregation. I am still nursing my 15 month old baby and have brought him here since he was 3 weeks old. I've made use of the moms room thats provided for all breastfeeding moms and babies and of course moms with cranky babies who wants a quiet place to hang out and soothe their little ones. It has comfy rockers, a changing table and a 65 inch monitor to watch the service while tending to you precious baby. The moms room is truly designed for mother and baby's comfort. As a mom who always wants to provide my son a clean, comfortable and safe place to feed, the moms room couldn't be any better. This place is a Holy Spirit filled place, you will surely feel Gods presence. It doesn't matter who you are, where you've been, what you've done... everyone is welcome. So come see for yourself.

Ohev Yisrael recognizes the Creator's chosen people, emphasizes and celebrates Judaism and is a safe place for Jews and gentiles to investigate and grow in faith.) Renowned Sabbath school classes for kids include Hebrew language lessons and Bar/Bat Mitzvah training; adult education programs on Torah and Jewish history as well as Jewish contemporary life; stable elder-based leadership is overseen by Tikkun Ministries and the congregation is a member of the Union of Messianic Jewish Congregations (UMJC). Small group fellowships (chavurah) help bring faith and fellowship home for those who choose to be so engaged. FBCW's "First Family" is very welcoming and warm from the moment you walk in the door. With a very robust children's ministry, an active teen ministry, military ministry, men's ministry, women's ministry, and small groups for every demographic you could think of, there is a place for you here! The preaching is gospel-centered, the vision for outreach is obvious, and the commitment to the accurate teaching of God's Word is paramount. Church has a traditional service at 08:30 and contemporary services at 1000 and 11:30, and a Hispanic service at 1:00 PM on Sundays, and small groups that meet throughout the week.

The sermons are extremely interesting. The Youth group is one of the best I've ever seen, with a student worship band, awesome camps, and a Youth Pastor that the teens love to listen to. Both the Youth and Children's ministers are very well organized, motivational, and centered on the Gospel. This church does a great job welcoming people and making them feel like family. I love that they consider themselves a "Go and Tell" church. Matthew 28:19-20 is the first thing you see in big letters on the wall when you walk in the front door.

Dressing up to go to Sunday School/Church rubbed me the wrong way. If I wasn't comfortable in what I wore, my attention to church was nonexistent. This is when I was much younger. Still today I am glad to see Church goers wearing everyday clothing and not necessarily the monkey suit. Anyhow, after talking with the pastor for the second time, I find him very laid back and cool to talk to. In the back of my mind i wondered what could be today's lesson in church? Today's Lesson: The Storm Have you ever had a personal storm in your life? Well today's lesson. Started out with how weather people...no,...meteorologist decided to name storms after women. This was later changed to men an women's name. Some of the names of selected storms have a deeper meaning than others. The lesson in short was to keep hope in what you do, because without hope, you might be battling a storm physically, mentally or both for a long time. I don't go to Church very often, but this place gives off good vibes even if I still don't know many of the people there. My wife says the main reason for being there is God. Anything else is an added bonus. I am not as into the Lord as she is, but I will say this. The music, how I feel then I am there and the history of lessons learned keep me coming back for more. I find it fascinating how things I learned in school, specifically Western/Eastern Civilization and American History had bites and peices of things I am now hearing from The Bible. I am moving at a snail's pace come paired to my wife. Yet I don't believe there is a set speed for religion. If there is, my God will have to have patience. Still, I am on a Journey of self discovery. Who knows what I will discover next week.
