I used to come here all the time. I grew up getting doughnuts and different fruit drinks and slushys here. People always say they're doughnuts are like they used to be and that they aren't good but I personally don't mind them most of the time. The service and attitude is the problem. I went in there last summer and met the most wonderful worker, I wish I knew her name so I could shout her out but I don't remember. She was super helpful and even recommended a drink that I fell in love with and still drink to this day. She really knew what she was talking about and was super helpful as this was my first time ordering a coffee from them. But this time wasn't so pleasant. I had tried to order coffee online for pickup because I was short on time but it said they were closed. I was confused because normally they close at 7 and it was only 5 something. So I called to make sure and she said that they were open and closed at 7 so I asked why the online ordering wasn't working and she basically told me it wasn't her job/ problem. So i asked if there was any way I could tell her my order over the phone and she told me they couldn't. Which is fine I completely understand but the way she was answering my questions and talking down to me like I was a child prank calling them. So we decided to go in and order our drinks and the terrible attitude really showed. We walk in and go to order and normally when your ordering food or anything like that the person taking your order asks if they can take you order or something like that so you at least know they're ready, but nothing just got stared at like I was being annoying by giving them business. After a few moments of silent starring I start to hesitantly order our drinks and I'm a generally nervous person and this encounter made my anxiety spike. They weren't busy at all so the coffees were ready pretty quickly... I think anyways because they just set them on the counter and didn't say a word. While we were waiting we were looking at there merchandise wanting to buy something but after that experience I didn't wanna spend any more money at that place. If I hadn't of glanced up the drinks honestly probably would've sat there for a few more minutes which isn't the best for iced coffee. After all of that my large iced coffee wasn't even close to all the way filled up and I think that's why the drink Was a lot sweeter than it normally was. Honestly this encounter made me wish I would've just spent the extra couple dollars and went to Starbucks or scooters. Maybe she was just having a bad day or something but her attitude damn near ruined mine... who knows. If she was I genuinely hope it gets better. read more
