If you're ever in Davao City, Philippines and need to get your coffee fix, this is the place. It's walking distance from Guadalupe Village and not too far from Jollibees and McDonalds. I recommend it.

I find that Hayashi is among the best in town because their pandesal taste really good when its freshly baked. I just dont know about their other bread products but certainly it can be good. Just increase your patience during peak hours as the lines can get longer because many people are really lining up for this bread. They also open other branches in the city. I know they have the first branch in Matina another is at Agdao Public market.

Favorite Cake Shop in the City!…read more Ive been a regular customer for more than a year now. They have a wide variety of cakes and they are well priced, affordable than most coffee shops who sell cakes. Almost all cakes I bought from them and ask people about the taste it is well receive and they always ask where is the cake bought from thats the quality of Faski Cakes. They also have cup cakes if you just want to have a coffee partner. My favorite cake flavors from Fatskie Red Velvet Rhum Coffee Crumble (not sure the exact name) Cookies and Cream Double Choco moist The coffee is also amazing! They just recently updated their coffee bean and it taste great than the last one. A high caliber of beans I say! This is for the black coffee. Why 4 star rating? There is just one time I parked infront of the store, at the corner right(im using a motorcycle). The sister of the owner came and ask me to move my motorcycle, I dont mind moving my motorcycle if its really blocking the way but its not. I mean being courteous will certainly help your business right?

This establishment used to be my favorite place to get merienda (Filipino afternoon snack), but…read morerecently their food's starting to taste bland (except for some of their pastries). I do suggest you try out their batchoy or mami still if you want authentic Filipino meriendas. Winner of the pastries will always and forever be their cassava cake! The only downside is their parking. You'll have a hard time looking for a spot on the road since they don't have a designated parking area. Price wise, it's very affordable. They used to be more cheap than they are today but it's still pretty cheap. And the price you pay for the food is worth it so you'll walk out with no regrets.

PRO TIP: If you are in a mall and happen to want to drink coffee but not have enough dough for the pricey ones in coffeeshops, go for Cecil's. They have brewed coffee for like less than a dollar plus their dessert selection is broad so you are basically in a very affordable coffee shop (minus the traditional coffee shop's ambiance).

Their saving grace - their cakes. While Lachi's is a good place for cheap meals (that's people find…read moreextremely good but it's actually just average) their cakes take them to a whole other level! Meals cost around 110-250 depends on what you're gonna eat. It's a pretty hearty meal, there's a lot of food served and a lot of rice but still, it's really nothing that great. More like a 6/10. But if you try their cakes... It's a definite 11/10. I love their matcha cheesecake so much! Their blueberry, strawberry cheesecakes and creme brûlée cake is also reaaallllyyy good so if you go there I suggest you get those cakes! I also suggest you reserve a table ahead of time because it's usually full. Also parking depends on whether there's a lot of people around the area or not because they don't have their own parking area, you just park on the streets so that's that. ALSO - don't be surprised with their service. The waitresses and everyone working there are basically bitches (not even kidding) they can be rude and they never smile and always take your orders and etc like they're tortured for it (I swear it's annoying) but if you want to try their cakes you'd have to endure the service.
